Four years ago this was the same speech. Nothing doing. When the politicians make speeches like this, they should know the historical background of an area, this conflict have been there since 1873, between the maa clan of purko, uasingishu and the laikipiak. They must understand that the maa grazing land run from all the from eldonyo lenga to kajiado to Nairobi to ngong( uwaso) to naivasha to nakuru to Narok to uasingishu to laikipia to sambaru and so forth. When the colonialists came all the Highlands was taken by them and the maa clan where mainly divided into three some went towards oldonyo lengai and some toward ngong and some liakipia. The colonialists exclusive set a side laikipia as a grazing land for the maa. What we have now is pastrolist community in that area tussling for grazing land and the non pastrolist communities are caught up in that war.
