I worked in a haunted house for like 5 years and played a clown role for 4 of those years. Honestly the clown was the funnest role because you could do anything as long as you laughed maniacally as you did it. This chapter and the music just gives me tons of nostalgia from the haunt. Really loved that role. Have me excuses to hit the walls and scream lmao

Fun Fact(but honestly not really a fun fact): There’s an unused animation for the gremlin clowns where they pretty much go ‘Peek-a-boo’. It’s not known what this would’ve been used for, but I suspect that it may have been for one of these three things- 1. Similar to how Dread Duckies had their little ‘dance’ in the previous level, this might’ve been an animation present during the boss stage for background clowns. 2. Although very unlikely, I like to think that it could’ve been used for a scrapped concept where the clowns performed something similar to primal fear, and when used, would temporarily stun the player(similar to the Dread Duckies). If this were the rare case, I could’ve seen this being used if the Gremlins didn’t appear in groups as we saw in the final version of the level. But other than that, the concept would’ve been thrown out when the idea of them appearing in groups popped up due to this being nearly impossible to survive. 3. And most likely of them all, could’ve just been a scrapped jumpscare.

Fun Fact(but honestly not really a fun fact): There’s an unused animation for the gremlin clowns where they pretty much go ‘Peek-a-boo’. It’s not known what this would’ve been used for, but I suspect that it may have been for one of these three things-
1. Similar to how Dread Duckies had their little ‘dance’ in the previous level, this might’ve been an animation present during the boss stage for background clowns.
2. Although very unlikely, I like to think that it could’ve been used for a scrapped concept where the clowns performed something similar to primal fear, and when used, would temporarily stun the player(similar to the Dread Duckies). If this were the rare case, I could’ve seen this being used if the Gremlins didn’t appear in groups as we saw in the final version of the level. But other than that, the concept would’ve been thrown out when the idea of them appearing in groups popped up due to this being nearly impossible to survive.
3. And most likely of them all, could’ve just been a scrapped jumpscare.
