    • @TheLemonKiller
      @TheLemonKiller 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Katuulu Tone is in everything.
      Standing or sitting playing, pick thickness, speaker size, cabinet type, number of speakers, the pedal order, cable type, cable length, string core, string Guage, how you attack the strings, angle of the pick, how you hold the neck, how you fret, action height, intonation, nut type, how close the pickups are to the strings, how much pressure you put when fretting, type of pickups, how the pickups are wired, and so on and so forth.
      My guitar in total is probably $300 give or take. The rig I have for band setting is $400 give or take.
      So I mean, if you need to buy expensive shit.
      It has more to do with your ego and inability to want to work with what you have rather than wanting to actually learn how to be good/decent.
      One person can take a $1,000+ guitar and run through a $2,000+ rig and sound like absolutely horse shit.
      Then someone else can use the same thing without changing settings and make it sound amazing.
      Ted Nugent was backstage at a Halen concert and asked Eddie to try out his rig.
      Know what it sounded like?
      You guessed correctly.
      It sounded like Ted Nugent because it's the player.

    • @notoriusdrifter40
      @notoriusdrifter40 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Multorum Unum You can djent on a tele easily, with single coils too. Six string guitars won't cut it beacuse they simply aren't made for tunings like drop A and lower.

      Drop B does the job for djent.

    If you re-string it to force the strings to 'lock', that will solve the tuning problem. There's plenty of videos on YT on how to do it.

    Only reason you got that thick black metal sound is the plug ins,on a regular practice or amp in general you'll never get that sound with the stock single coils.Possible if you put a humbucker in the bridge.
