When I had my medical I paid $20,000.00 that was 8 years next month.
I saved a lot of money by going to the local clinic & my private doctor.
I told them I'm going to migrate. And some of the vaccines needed. That why I paid the amount I did.

Can a medical report from any hospital be used for the medical appointment, or does the US embassy have a specific hospital where I have to get the medical report from.
They have a specific one they want you to download from the us medical website
For those who don't know, $10k Jamaican dollars is equivalent to about $65 in American.

Hello sir kindly reply to me. Today I had my usa immigrate visa appointment with in my home country and they returned my passport with a form instructing me to go do medical check up and was told that they would call me back to the embassy to bring back my passport once they got my medical check up results from their physician. Does it mean a good sign or it's a bad sign?

Question, my finance lives in Jamacia also and her medical is this month. Does the medical examiner pull her health records from doctors and hospitals in Jamacia or is this self reported. she visited for her anxiety and depression due to stress? I know the application questions ask about mental history, etc but do they actually pull her records? She's been to mandeville hosptial and a hospital in montego bay and private doctors.

Lol not really eno. Easier to keep records at a central location of immigrants. And that hospital would have all the details of what the embassy looking for. Similarly, children's hospital use a specific location for MRI's etc of their patients.

How long did it take for the embassy to receive your medical?
Thats why i reached from 7😅 did mines on Oct 6.2022 they only took from me the confirmation email for the medical, 2 passport size pictures, the medical history form and all the "original" vaccination cards and your passport..no copies

I did my medical last week. I went through the exact procedures except for the urine test. I did not do that part. Went there 7:30 and got thru some minutes pass 11

Hey Kim. How much was cost for the medical?
HI thank you for sharing i was a bit confused when i called Andrews and they said i had to pay the 27g i though that, that was money was different from the interview money. So did you get a covid shot, cause the person at Andrews seh i should walk with and additional 30g in case i have to get the covid shot.
Covid shots are not offered at AMH only the government offers those. The extra 30k is if you need additional vaccines. Especially for children and the elderly there are vaccines that are not the norm here that are required in the states.

@@kadeemfoster660 3 weeks ago.... but i found out it is actually different from the interview money, im not sure if the medical exam is for persons who are been filed for or everyone who is applying for a US visa, but me nuh have nuh money so that medical exam is gonna have to wait until them call me for inter view and the earliest date i got was November 2022, so if anyone here is looking to apply for a US visa the earliest interview day you will get is 2023.
@@trudianbyfield9241 the Covid shot is given at AMH but its the US Embassy leg of it, only if visa purposes.

Thanks for sharing your experience but pls did you do ur covid 19 vaccination before ur medical exam? Bcuz am seeing some news that is compulsory for every immigrants to do it...I just want to know if you did it before ur interview or medical exam.

Hi , we are same situation about the immunization record. Bcoz i asked in the clinic where i get my immunization they said my record was lost .. So now i dunno what i am going to do .
