Thank you for watching! I'm beyond excited to start the journey of "Giving Voice to 100 Communities Around the World" in Ghana 🇬🇭 If you wanna be part of this journey SUBSCRIBE!
My wife is a 1/2 Ghanian 1/2 Liberian baddie who came to the USA in her 20s and we've been married for almost a decade with kids. She is pretty "modern" but her belief in being "hexxed" or basically the vicitim voodoo is very real, kinda funny and also kinda scary. Ya know we have some similar beliefs in the USA too, it just takes different forms with different terminology. Look at all the movies we have about ghosts and shit, and cultural shit about astrology and what not. We should not look at Ghana like it is too different. And if you are an American 'passport bro' check out Ghana, the girls are gorgeous and so wonderful, and most of them are Christian and English speaking as well with a lot of Anglo influence due to the colonization by Britain. This video is about the very rural village people of Ghana, although as in the USA, the rural cultural also has its form and influence on the urban and more "sophisticated" areas of the country. And the man's explanation that polygamy is tied to witch craft is just so spot on lol
Hey there! Thanks for watching 🙏 I'm currently not with David but we travelled together both in Kenya 🇰🇪 and Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦 so you should expect those series on his channel soon. And I'm 28 :)
It is very sad that nowadays there are people who believe in witches and they treat to them so bad. Thanks for sharing this story, it was a great job. I hope that will be found a way to solve this problem.
Hello there. Thank you for watching and commenting. Respectfully I don't think I'm referring to the Ghanaian people in general at any point of the video. This is a very specific situation and the problem does exist whether we like to hear about it or not. The whole point of this channel is to give voice to the people that have no voice and it's clear to me that no one is advocating for these women. Ghana has actually been one of the best and most friendly countries I've travelled in my life and I'm excited to showcase that in the upcoming videos of the series. Hope you'll stick around for that 🙏
@@UnseenVoices I'll be watching your channel to see how you portray my people, we sick and tired of this poverty stricken view your people like to show in the international community
What have been your contribution to these helpless people? Have you ever thought of speaking and defending our rights and freedoms before? If no then allow the one who is ready to speak for the voiceless... Don't annoy me. And what do you mean by that one day one day? Is it a threat or what? Is it not a shame that you refer to them as your people but cares not about their living conditions?
@@ivileharmans5644is it not true? See how this unnecessary superstitious beliefs had ruined the lives of our parents. If you are not willing to stand up for these helpless elderly people, please allow those who are ready, willing and determined to do so please

Witches exist
@@pompidu1093in your dreams.
@@MichaelCurry-es5qy They really exist just because you don't believe in them does not mean they do not exist
i want white men like this to tell us about the Dark Ages of the Europeans 1000 yrs before coming to america
This looks like Netflix material ❤
Thank you Bill! Always appreciated 🙏
It's sad all this superstitious keeps these people suppressed
why is he telling our African stories???
Not YOUR story’s
All these primitive behaviours should be abolished. Human Rights doing something
It's not that easy they'll go to war over this shit thinking human rights ppl are witches tryna make them conform
I hate these videos that display us like this, this guy contributes in this stereo type people have about our people. 1 day is 1 day French man...
