***** Well, I'm going to do a little work on the 68 Camaro. I sold it, but the new owner wants some stuff done. I'm also hoping to get back on the 68 Mustang I was building for my wife. May squeeze in a little work on the 68 Riviera. Really want to be driving that car....
Well, I will be looking forward to that. I finally got the deck filler installed on our 66 mustang. Having a real problem welding correctly. My plug welds had no fusion and are making big balls. It looks so easy in the videos, but really having a difficult time of it.Turned up the heat and seams to be better. Got fusion, and plugs are flatter, but still seem thick. Any thoughts?
***** Welding is an art form. Practice is mandatory. Sounds like you're on the right track. Heat, wire speed, and hand movements all have to work together. I've seen people move too fast with the settings correct, and fail. Practice on some scraps and play with the settings.
Wow it turned out very nice. But I wouldn't expect anything less from your work. Thumbs up!
It came out great!
Man that looks good.
That primer laid down nice! WAY better than the job I did... looked like I sprayed it through a drinking straw
Yaheuben66 It seemed really thick. The hardener poured out like honey....
Yeah-- mine too-- and I tried spraying through a 1.4 tip...no reducer
Yaheuben66 I used a 1.4 tip, but I added reducer as it called for.
Looks great.
looks really nice,i ,just mix and spray sounds good
How did you spray the floorboards? Are you shooting in your garage?
jevchance Yep. I have an area I use as a paint booth.
Bear, are you going to be doing any classic restorations soon?

That looks great.
Are you going to topcoat it with black single stage or basecoat?
cecil6711 Neither. It's done. The epoxy primer has a hardener in it, and a lot of builders are using it.
What was the high build primer you used?
***** Shopline JP202
