no theyre just missing the ult, the clip on fracture it bugged out, but 99% of the time it's cuz they missed, it's really not that hard to hit in ranked but in VCT they kinda have to rush the ult cuz otherwise they'll die. People cope about raze ult and it's the most annoying thing ever as a raze main.
that emman double satcheling in to kill himself with his ult will forever be legendary, not even chaotic moments like the others, just pure killing himself
the ult damage is calculated like a grenade, shooting detections in every direction UNLESS it hits a wall, but it should be calculated as an instant AOE with damage fall off the farther it is.

You never see her, she never sees you. Even if the damage falloff stops it from doing over 150, it would still be bullshit if it killed you on 1 hp. The only real fix would be to warp the blast *around* close walls, and/or make it penetrate walls that can be shot through by medium pen.
1:27 respect, looks like he realized in time that it was too late to pull out of the showstopper on the kj so he changed the course to not hit the wall. (he was half hp anyway and the wall hit would probably kill him there) too bad he died a second later lmao
You can tell the collision with some of the boxes is fucked because a few of the clips show the person taking 0 damage. Like the Skye clip around 5:40, it’s right beside her and she doesn’t take a point of damage which shows that the damage calculation is bugging out somehow

It only looks like it missed because the painted impact circle is bigger than the ult's actual dmg hitbox. The only exception was the last clip of Fracture but even then it can be explained as him hitting the side of that box instead of the top and so it splashed sideways, kinda like if you hit a wall with the ult. Normally if you shoot it on the ground, the dmg hitbox will be a half sphere parallel to the ground but if you shoot it on a wall, the half sphere will be parallel to the wall, which is 90 degrees from the ground. At least that's my theory on its hitbox. Or maybe it could even be an line of sight thing, kinda like old Kayo molly. Walls and object will block that line of sight and thus everything behind them are not damaged but players hitbox doesn't block that line of sight. And so when that ult hit the box, the enemy was atop it and is sufficiently hidden from the point of impact's line of sight so he didn't really suffer much dmg.

This is the struggle of being a Raze main. I'm pretty sure it's intentional, Riot knows that their game can't be *too* fun so the funnest character has to give you massive feelbad moments with her ult whiffing. (I'm joking of course)
I totally agree with you. I do think we should buff Showstopper at the expense that it should be a 9 point ultimate. A lot of these should at least do damage, and we can trade-off more consistent damage output for a more expensive ultimate.@@rainer7556
