I love David. People don't understand the emotional toll that adultery can have on some people's lives, especially if they truly loved and devoted themselves to the other person.
I mean, when it happens, it is among the worst, and most lonely feeling someone can experience in life. It's clear that happened to David.
Happened to me too, and people have started to think I am crazy as well. Maybe I am.

I don't doubt he had/has depression etc. related to that, but he has mental issues that go beyond simply being cheated on and likely existed prior to his wife's infidelity, so I wouldn't blame all his behavior solely on that one thing. I think when it comes down to it, he's a decent person, I just think he may be moderately on the Autism Spectrum based on his behavior. His odd behavior and obsession with/knowledge of very specific things (namely trains and to a lesser degree "aliens") makes me think this, though I certainly don't have professional credentials to make a diagnosis.

He’s quite similar in life as he is on Tim and Eric. I spent a whole day driving him around Fort Worth. It was a ton of fun and the weirdest day of my life.
This sounds fascinating. Can you give us more details? Why did you find yourself driving David Leibe Hart around in Texas?
Jacob Wilson I was introduced to him by drawing a portrait for him. I shared it to his Facebook fan page and got in contact with his manager who thought it was cool. Ever since then i’ve been in contact fairly frequently with his manager and when David played a live show here, i got to hang out with him after the show. We had supper and he asked me if the next day if I could drive him around the city to go to mega-churches. It sounded too weird to pass up.
@@jdodson4421 FASCINATING. Mega-churches, as in plural? Wow. I've just started listening to his podcast, which I imagine is pretty indicative of the experience you probably had. It's definitely not just a really committed character act, as some have speculated. He does seem to be a genuinely nice, big-hearted guy.

Lol at video description, this is "The Daily Show" a satire cable "news" show that lampoons the latest events/people, so it's not really a "news story", a mainstream news network wouldn't be interviewing an "out there" person like DLH.
