hint: try putting the bookshelf like in the bedroom floor, they look like normal planks but still function as bookshelf and work with the enchanting table!
Due to this being S4 (Kinda) Of Hardcore Minecraft, I feel like you should combine all 3 seasons into 1 epic kingdom like the underwater city you built from S1, upgrade a village like you did in S2, and make floating islands with stuff on them like in S3. Kinda like all 3 realities combined to 1 epic world (also please don't die/corrupt your world at the 99th episode like what happened in S1)
You also have to turn down the simulation distance in order to be safe from the effect as render distance only control the chunks that are being shown on the screen while simulation distance control all the spawning and other mechanics in the set chunk distance
You always upload about 90 minutes before to go to lunch. Makes my day so much better. I say no totem farm and only keep 1 total in your inventory/off hand. It’s there for accidents but you still gotta use your superior gamer skills to stay alive in hard situations
Changing out the stone for some deep slate in your "bedroom" area could be cool, kinda feels samey to most of your other builds, would be cool to make it pop. The tunnel out to the underwater area looks great by the way, love the lush additions 👌
Hey Paul. i really like this new series :) Always a nice surprise when a new episode pops up in my feed. For the front of your house, maybe add some bushes/leaves. Instantly makes a space look nicer. For an even nicer look, try using a different wood (spruce is always a sure bet) or stripped logs of your choice in an alternating cross pattern. :) The underwater city is a really nice idea, I never would have the courage to do it myself though XD
In regards to the totem/no totem idea: Totems shouldn't be solely relied upon if you're looking to not die, they're good if you're flying around and accidentally get yourself into a high speed collision or something like that, or even unexpected falls. But most of the time a shield will do you better than a totem will - like if you're swamped with mobs that you just can't kill quickly enough an enchanted shield is going to serve you better. So my verdict on the "no totem run" idea is keep one easily at hand, but don't carry it permanently in your hand
In regards to using totems, I think it would be cool to see someone not have some and if they die they die because I feel like a lot of people rely on them and have so many(I feel they also get bored with their worlds). But I’m also ok with using totems but limiting them. So like 1 maybe 2 and then once they are gone and one dies the hardcore world can start over. That way it would also help one not to get board with their world too. 💕
I also have a lot of totems, although I'm over 1300 days into my hardcore world and still haven't popped one yet. Regardless, this sounds like a really good idea!
Let’s go! Atlantis returns! Paul-seidon has returned from Mine-lympus to bless us once again! Edit: so when Paul was digging the underground tunnel to the water city, I had a thought: Paul is basically becoming Minecraft Batman: he’s got his manor on the surface but he drops down underground to the brown pearl (bat-boat) and goes off into the city.
I see that you should make the ocean temple your own Maqraker and modify it in a sheep shape and build all the machines and farms in their own section in your headquarters
You should play with totems because in the first episode you said it was going to be the best hardcore world and we all want this to last as long as possible, so yes use totems.
What an amazing video For the totem: Id say have like an emergancy totem on hand but not always being held, have it more as like a backup than a necessity
I like how you are taking concepts from the OG world we all loved. Please continue building underwater and taking more concepts from the world you lost due to lag
It would be cool if you made a giant building/skyscraper thing that went from the clouds down through the ocean and underground. I think that would be cool. Great Vid!!
I was really sceptical when u where starting a new hardcore series, i thought u just would do the same thing that every hardcore series does. But ur playing Minecraft more like ur first series, and i really like it, like ur just having fun playing Minecraft, and not just making the OP farms. Keep it going
You should add glowstone to the underground city so that at night time it will glow and stand out. Also, add some coral reef stuff and try and add fish. It will look awesome! Keep up the great content btw!
As you said and we also know, you hardly use a totem. I think you can survive the run without a totem, but as you mentioned this is going to be the bestttt hardcore world ever so wouldn't wanna lose it. That's why just in case keep a totem in your inventory so that atleast you have a chance just in case you need it. As some others suggest you shouldn't make a farm for them and can obtain them through a raid or woodland mansion only. GG btw XD
14:30 SLABS, USE SLABS also i love all the builds in all of your hardcore worlds (well most of them) you're tunnel build is pretty cool tho you could also put a dispenser to dispense boats when u jump down the hole (using a tripwire maybe?)
If you have to make another hard-core world, I had an idea for a villager trading hall- that idea? The Roman Colosseum. It's super cool and if you look at pictures of it, there are kinda cubby hole-ish areas in it- where you could put the villagers. You could also put a golem farm in the center arena-
For your base on land you should build 2 character next to your entries that are big and dangois as body guruds and you should build cars next to them that match them
I'm in the process of building a whole town on a mushroom island in hard core. I've been hiding out for 47 days so far getting enchantments and mining on my huge mushroom island. It's about five thousand blocks from spawn, nice boat ride, lol. It's nice they finally added hard core to bedrock. This is my second try, first time I lasted two days and got killed by a golem for getting rid of a green coat, lol!
I think the floor will look awsome if you just outline with dark oak wood and in the center stone bricks and mossi stone bricks it's just a suggestion I think it will look pretty good in my opinion
PaulGG, if you're looking for the ultimate hardcore survival experience, I challenge you to make a hardcore series with 1.13.2 world with buffet caves, mountains biome, structures OFF. I've done a 970 days world (on hardcore minecraft subreddit), and it really is epic!
I think you should be able to use totems but no totem farm. That way it really feels like you have to earn every single totem instead of having chests full of them.
I dont think you should make a totem farm but I do really like your hardcore series so I'd like it to last a bit, so I'm down with totems :) Also I do like the oak on the ground for the house, it looks a bit empty but I trust in your ability to bring it together
You should make a sugarcane farm when he got the sugarcane And I mean like a really basic sugar cane farm Cause that means more sugarcane more bookshelf
when crafting large amounts of stone bricks, its actually faster to use a crafting table! you can make 4 stacks at a time instead of just 1. Stonecutters are best for stairs, or very complicated blocks like deepslate tiles.
Need to drain an ocean monument, THEN... turn it into a nether castle. I think it would look so dope. Legit just replace the blocks with some that look like the ones on it ya know just nether ones instead. maybe have lava at the bottom.
Personally I think Hardcore is silly. I love watching you guys build these insane crazy worlds over time.. the idea that at any time the whole thing could be lost.. adds nothing.
With a stone cutter, one stack of stone makes a stack of any stone variant (stairs, walls, slabs, etc.) but in a crafting table stone bricks take 4 stacks of normal stone. and then it takes extra to make slabs and stuff. if you would just try it was it would save you so many materials.
During the sea temple fight he probably died and that's why it cut in such a weird way, plus while doing the floors of the undersea city none of his tools lost any durability between the cut. This "hardcore" series is very suspicious
I think that perhaps there should be a rule for no raid farm. If you want a totem, get it the good old fashion "minecraft" way. Lol Than it'd be harder to abuse it since they'd be a little more scarce to come by.
hint: try putting the bookshelf like in the bedroom floor, they look like normal planks but still function as bookshelf and work with the enchanting table!
Agreed
Slay cool too know
Actually a dope idea😂 thanks!
He really shouldn't
I meant should not shouldn't
You should play allowed to use totems but you can't build a farm to get them. You either need to do a raid or go to a woodland mansion.
Yeah i was thinking the same thing!
Yes
I agree
I agree but he should be able to build a raid farm but not use the totems
@@brittanyroberts4526 I agree with this comment

You should try using warped wood in the underwater city I think it would look better than oak
facts
Crimson would probably look better - clash all the blue water with some purple, maybe red carpet with it.
Spruce would be better
Yall sleeping on acacia
You look like my cat

For the hole I’m picturing a wine cellar type deal, spiral stairs going down, chests and book shelves along the walls n stuff would be cool
I'm at work and I STILL clicked this as fast as I possibly could. Fire me ALEeEeEeX! See if I care.. Job be damned. Bless you Paul

Definitely use a totem man! Keep this world going as long as possible! Also hood to see you back
Make the space in the front a axolotl place with a bunch of axolotls, vines and make if look run down and ancient
The stone brick under the glass makes it look like it is rising above the oak planks, giving it a look most houses have between the wall and floor.
Paul please make a modded minecraft series
Awesome!!
12:16 That solo glass block floating among the kelp looked so cursed...
Honestly TYSM paul this was one of the things i really missed ur underwater village but now its backkk i love ur vids so much
Seeing the difference between his first underwater city and this one is really cool!
I see that you should make the ocean temple your own Maqraker and modify it in a sheep shape and build all the machines and farms in their own section in your headquarters
Bro i started like this series so much keep going
Les goo my favorite Minecraft TH-camr
You need to save the dragon head and bring Richard back!

It'd be a great twist to your hardcore with no totem!
Yes
for the middle of the city you could make a fountain but the water u break the block in the middle and it flows from the ceiling into the fountain
It would be cool if you made a giant building/skyscraper thing that went from the clouds down through the ocean and underground. I think that would be cool. Great Vid!!
Fun fact: if you want to keep sponges dry and not use coal, just go to the nether and place them, they immediately dry

We want these episodes to be fast
I really love ur vintage hc video

Pauls coming in with the 2 fridays in a row combo!! Completing everyones week once again 🤌
Beings the village is underwater I think grass in the center with flowers would be beautiful! And possibly a statue.
You should bring back Richard with the dragon head and make him a castle also love your content
Looks very good! You should put glowstone in it or around it to make it glow
Totems should have a 10 minute cooldown before you can pop a second totem
You should add glowstone to the underground city so that at night time it will glow and stand out. Also, add some coral reef stuff and try and add fish. It will look awesome! Keep up the great content btw!
You should do the glitch break the bedrock at the bottom of overworks and see if you could build a tiny base in the void there

You should make an automatic potato farm in the underwater city.
Let's gooooo new video. You should make a mini mount chickpea in memory of the ocean only world
Welcome back
For your base on land you should build 2 character next to your entries that are big and dangois as body guruds and you should build cars next to them that match them

I was just watching the hardcore series that this very base came from and I see THIS.
Wowsers.
Add scratch into the world and make it so the only way you can get totems is beating a raid or going to a woodland mansion, so no farms or whatever
I think the floor will look awsome if you just outline with dark oak wood and in the center stone bricks and mossi stone bricks it's just a suggestion I think it will look pretty good in my opinion
I am a sucker for Minecraft underwater builds, so thank you for making this video. :)
I'll be honest never built in ocean before myself although the idea of a ship wreck in bottle is appealing...

Switch out the glass blocks in the bubble elevator for glass panes/end rods when you have them. The panes work fine and you can hardly see them
i think that the underwater city would look amazing with some prismarine trim or some other kind of block to trim the glass looks amazing
Paul you should check out the mountain it’s definitely the wardens territory
you should build a villager food farm
During the sea temple fight he probably died and that's why it cut in such a weird way, plus while doing the floors of the undersea city none of his tools lost any durability between the cut. This "hardcore" series is very suspicious
9:53 temple death
14:30 floor cut

The lagoon cave should have some of the lush blocks and a palm tree looking thing and a shipwreck and far rocks. Would look great.
You could make take inspiration from the uncharted cave or something. I think it would turn out really good.
You should make a waterless water elevator using powdered snow, it’s really cool to use.

villager city needs a reverse water well and a town bell, vilagers love their town bell.
