    this is a great interviewer, unlike those that talk toooo much, he let liam talk and he was very patient even tho liam talked slowly (slow talkers got interrupted frequently, i know this cuz im one of them and i've also noticed this in liam's many interviews) . i wish to watch more of these lonng interviews of liam. it seems there aint many out there... :(

    Liam NEESON, has a famous acting career, over 100 films been reported since this interview. Most loved Irish actor, great variety of roles, think he has discovered his niche. His respect for other actors and the stories as they unfold for the screen, is outstanding. He fully understands the struggles Ireland has been through over the hundreds of years. He is admired through the world. This interview is extremely interesting, Liam interviews extremely well!

    What an ambassador for Ireland north and south. It’s 2023 and I just watched Ireland ( the island) win a memorable rugby game against South Africa.( brilliant team). Any of my fellow island of Ireland people that were not proud of that epic achievement put ur hand up. …….. crickets!!

    Liam Neeson had so much presence as Schindler and made him totally believable. If anything, the underlying uncertainty of himself makes the character more believable.

    The question is is why does London still, after 800 years, want to hang on to a part of Ireland (ie. "Northern" Ireland)?

    • @IrishTechnicalThinker
      @IrishTechnicalThinker 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It because from the early 1600's protestants were moved to Ulster and began to settle moving the native Irish Catholics more south. This accelerated faster during the mid 1800's protestants and had the majority. The during World War 1 many Ulster protestants went to fight Germany and they felt a greater connection to England, while the IRA struck for freedom during the Middle of the war. Thus Irish Catholics felt a greater connection to the Irish cause.

    The European Union comment is terribly poignant, all these years later. If we, the English, squander peace in Ireland for some mythical "sovereignty", we deserve never to be forgiven. (Fortunately, I think the communities in the North are committed to peace; that's to their credit, not ours.)
