About 15 years ago my son was violently attacked and robbed on a subway train in Philly. The passengers on the train did absolutely nothing, they didn’t even push the emergency button in the car. The police had me watched the video surveillance and it hurt me to the core as I watched people get the train and my son crawling off the train looking for help. What happened to human compassion.

WHY won't they identify the victim? They HAVE subway video of her and the suspect entering the subway and boarding the train. So even if they don't have her medical identity; they CAN show the public the video of her before the incident. Who knows, maybe someone will recognize her.

Almost 2 years ago I was attacked in NYC minutes away from my job by a homeless man and he assaulted me, chased me, and spit in my face. The police did nothing and the public did nothing. I had an assembly person assisting with me getting justice as the man was never arrested however, no charges was ever brought against him and all I was told that because he’s a homeless EDP he has to seek help. This world is not safe for women is all I can say is. I didn’t get justice until this man passed away outside of my job from a heart attack.

My experience is nowhere horrific as what this poor woman went through, but I got a glimpse of where society was heading 6 years ago. I was on crutches with a broken leg, in the middle of winter. No one offered up their seat for me, no one held the door open, etc. Everyone was engrossed in themselves, glued to their screens. Another time, my mother and I got caught up in quick sand near a riverbank. These 2 young men nearby just sat there relaxing as they watched us calling for help. I know I sound entitled and shouldn't expect anything from others, but if the tables were turned I would have done all I could to help them. I was raised to look out for others and have always done so. It's so obvious that our society is collapsing and if you're fortunate to have good family and friends, keep them close. We are going to need to build community if we are going to survive what's ahead...

I think they have the cctv subway photo and ran it through facial recognition software. I think they have identified her, but they are holding on to that info. I watched the actual video and I immediately thought it’s a black woman in her 20-30s. It was an all black group that held the prayer vigil at the station where it happened. They may be struggling to find her family, but I think the authorities are letting this calm down a bit before the info is given for fear of how the black community will react.

I must say I was truly heartbroken and a bit traumatized seeing her suffer and standing up while on fire. Now not to make any excuses for anyone because I prayed that I could have helped that lady in some way. But ladies and gentlemen let’s look at facts here. If someone is engulfed in flames and you do not have a fire blanket or fire extinguisher or large amount of water to immediately douse her flames then there was nothing that you could have done. What I would have liked to see is some men detain the monster that did this to her. I pray for her and her family and I pray for all of you living in NY.

Okay one thing people never get right about this story is that this happened around 7:30 in the morning on the very last stop on a very very cold day.
Most people had already left the train and that platform in the station, it is a big station, I've been there going to Coney Island.
You might not see everything if you are on a different platform.
When the perp had his lighter, the cameras inside the train recorded him as he did what he did, stood there and watched, also staring at the camera, this is shown in the stills the news outlets broadcasted and printed online.
if the lady who passed away is to be identified then it will be hours of going through video because apparently, they are saying she was homeless with no ID, so checking fingerprints with a special technology and dental records and DNA.
She had a walker which is visible, in one of the still shots, in the flames and bottles around her but I don't any bottles myself.
I did see all the cellphone videos but the train video interior has not been released yet, just 3 stills.
it might seem strange, but it was good that someone recorded this guy outside of the train fanning the flames, it shows he was deliberately intent on causing as much harm as possible and the officer who was just standing there watching him.
If the lady has family, they hopefully can and will sue a lot of people that failed their family member.
Also, the high schoolers that called after the incident when the police unwittingly let the perp go should get every last cent of that ten-thousand-dollar reward money, they deserve it.
I believe the reason no one actually helped the lady is no one really knew what happened, was there an accelerant, why wasn't she making and noise or moving to show she had not self-inflicted this on herself.
I know someone should have helped nonetheless.
I did see a blurry photo of her lying on the ground face up after the fire extinguishers were used, it reminded me of the fellow in the park earlier in the year who self-immolated and though he was alive in the ambulance he did expire in the hospital.
it is simply sad and the perp has a video of him saying things about how he likes to drink and smoke and just doesn't care about anything.
There is no DP effect because no one was around to see what the perp had done until it was way too late, all the police knew initially was there was a fire in a subway car.
There is more info but I can't put it all here.

If she was euro then that could cause a bad look on NY state officials for allowing Penny the subway strangler -to be released, rewarded, made a millionaire, even thanked by the future president after what he did; Which all of this of course inspired this fire-bug alien to do what he did BUT THE GAG IS-he did it to a euro citizen; Now it’s almost like an embarrassing backfire on the state of NY; That’s another angle to look at this -But we shall see..

    We gotta ask ourselves, whenever we're presented with stories like these;
Why is there so little information at first, but then only fed in tidbits each day, for weeks at a time,
so that they let the story "develop" (as they gather, or process all the info?) as they (supposedly) find out more?
Or rather they "develop" the story(line), the narrative, as they "release" a little more (selected) pieces of info at a time,
for a particular agenda of course...
If there is train car surveillance footage as claimed, why have we seen no video of it yet??
    I haven't on TH-cam anyway.
Only a few selected still pics released, I have seen 4 pics that I know of, all very grainy quality.
They released one still pic from one cop's bodycam, but no other bodycam stills or video footage (that I know of).Why is that??
If this was a real event, why was the scene not secured off, and everyone on the scene when police arrived questioned?
At least they have not said anyone was questioned at the scene, supposedly Zapeta was not even "recognized as being at the scene" (paraphrasd), only identified from the surveillance and bodycam footage, according to the words of MTA Chief Gulotta.
    And yes he does show up in the bystander footage, so we are to believe he was really there, and I sure he was at the scene;
he apparently posted a selfie video on an empty train car that I saw posted on a fake Amelia Carter Facebook popup account 2 days ago.
But why is it we have not seen the alleged evidence of him starting this fire yet, that is a completely valid question IMO.
We have also seen no footage or identifying still pics of the 'victim' (I haven't), why is that?

    Leslie, I cried.
I couldn't make it through the first video I saw. Her form just... unmoving as the flames devoured her entirely, licking the ceiling of the train as everyone stood by and idly watched. Even the police officer stood by and watched, almost as if in amusement with the perpetrator. Nobody's child deserves to suffer like she did. She was homeless, young, and clearly struggling. She was somebody's daughter, and was younger than my own sister. I can't even imagine the panicked thoughts that had been pounding in her mind at the time, as her chances of survival decreased with each person's hesitation and ignorance on that damn train. If I was there, i would've done something, anything in my power to put out the flames - I am 18, fresh out of HS working full time at a cafe in Pittsburgh. It takes me 48 minutes to take the bus to my job, and I feel so scared for my safety, as a young black woman, that I have to carry a large butterfly knife with me in case some drunken immigrant chooses to try to set me on fire.
I know a knife isn't going to stop a full grown man from savagely dousing me in flammable fluids from 4 feet away, and I know a knife isn't stopping a full grown man from savagely setting me on fire either.
A few weeks ago an elderly woman was r*ped and assaulted after being followed home on Pittsburgh Public Transit after getting off the same exact bus that I was on. She was 93 and was going downtown to watch a play. The brutality of the crime and her age shocked me in a way i can't describe. Monsters don't discriminate, and I don't want to have to live the rest of my youth in a constant state of anxiety because the person next to me might be actively plotting to kill me "just because they felt like it". I fear for this world, I really do.

1:10 I’m not entirely sure why the concept of “bystander apathy” isn’t regularly taught. Because it’s actually a normal human response that developed over a millennia ago with our ancestors. I hypothesize that it probably came about because way back then if there were some danger occurring, and you went to help, chances are your life would also likely end. There’s a sentinel case about this actually that took place in New York, you can look her up kitty Genovese. Basically she was being attacked and I think Queens and people turned their lights on everybody heard, but nobody actually did anything. And I think part of the rationale was also that someone thinks that the other person‘s gonna do it so and so forth, so it’s just passing the buck. I don’t know. I’ve never been really one to succumb to bystander apathy, but I’ve definitely experienced it happening to me.
Once I was on the subway and I had all this groceries with me and there was this white young woman that was taking up two seats and I wanted to sit so I just sat at the corner of the seat because she’s not entitled to two seats if she didn’t pay twice and then she started kicking me and nobody did anything and I just sat there. I didn’t care. And then when I got off the train this Latino guy Told me that I should’ve just got up. I was appalled, I said so you’re actually advocating for her behavior and he responded. You don’t know what these people like. Could be capable of blah blah blah. Mind you I’m a bipoc man and this girl was not the least bit intimidating. But what he did show me was how socialized we are towards whiteness where the defense is going towards the perpetrator just because they’re white

I live in NYC and near the train stop where the incident took place and know of the suspect personally from having run ins with him in every day commutes Because he hangs out near the 711 on Brighton beach ave. He expressed hating NYC And he expressed how he has problems with people every day Treating him badly And starting problems with him. A lot of people are gonna get angry with me for saying this but a lot of the blame is to be placed on the people who voted for the democrat party because they voted for open borders And a national security threat because of their hate for Trump. A lot of people wanted the racist orange man out of the White House because he was too racist by wanting to keep the border closed. Sad to say A lot of people in certain communities overwhelmingly voted for the democrat party again Is an overwhelmingly voted against their best interests. There are over 12 million undocumented people in this country as a result to the democrat party's open border. Unfortunately There are gonna be a lot more situations like this happening and it may very well reach somebody's doorstep personally as it did some of the other victims that have been unalive by undocumented immigrants under this administration. There are lies in the media claiming that they are self deporting which is not true. They are still being housed in expensive hotels here in New York City Funded by taxpayers while American citizens are being left out in a cold to remain homeless. Now they are starting to spread out to keep from being spotted because of Trump's threat of mass deportations. So they may very well be in your neighborhoods soon as a result to those of you who voted for the democrat party. The Venezuelan TDA gangs is nothing to mess with And even the gangs in Chicago are having a hard time dealing with them because they are 10 times more dangerous than the American gangs here in the United States. There are terrorists that have also come across that border but people was too busy going on an emotional rampage and Voted based off of their emotions. What happened to Riley was also messed up. There was enough crime already in the United States without all these additional people coming here and now we are officially a third world country. A lot of these migrants have also expressed their dislike for New York City and the natives here. So I would not be surprised if there's more situations like this to occur. Not to mention there are still people crossing access to the United States with a sense of entitlement. This is far from over. Not to mention some of these people in higher power positions is fighting to keep them here. There has been a lot of crimes against women and children since they've come here. Some of you guys have grandchildren and kids who have to commute to And from school And now they're everywhere and starting to spread out. People were too busy out there voting on Abortion rights and transgender rights but did not think about national security threats. Not to mention now the drones are being spotted in all 50 states. It's just really sad how people were so ignorant at the voting polls. Now they are trying to disqualify Trump from becoming president Which means if the current is administration remains involved. They are gonna continue to allow them to keep crossing the border so the national security threat is going to be 10 times higher and what you're seen on this train is nothing. Look at what's happening to the residents and those apartment buildings in Aurora Colorado in Denver. That is going to be an issue in all 50 states. Sad to say law enforcement is not gonna hold them accountable like they would do in American citizen. He was already deported before under the trump administration and came back under the Biden /harris administration and now this😢

In my life I've been in situations where I needed help and No One Helped me.
    This isn't new at all
many people are desensitized when it comes to people they just don't care.
Crime happens so often its like, oh well.
    Damn Shame!

No one can be trusted. Not either what you want to call a "Brother or Sisters Keeper". God is my Protector. My friend Earline disappeared from my life. The last conversation we had was when she told me her Eldest Son wanted to sell her house she was currently living in. She then told me one day, he was coming by her house to move her to a brand new home in Philadelphia. He had "surprised " her with a new home. I have not heard from Earline since that time. I don't even know if she is still alive. No one can be trusted. Not even, " Brother or Sister's Keeper".

In NY thanks to the Daniel Perry case, people will no longer help one another which is truly sad. We are all GOD’S children no matter our color or race. We should be fighting evil not each other.

I do wish that someone could have helped her. That is a horrible way to die. What reason did he have to do this to another human being! We are not safe we really are not! Have a lovely day Leslie it’s cold we have fog here it’s damp I am waiting on Amazon Prime and fresh today and Sainsbury shopping. I find it hard to get out and about and this weather is not for my illness at all. Bless up! ❤

Mr. Neely did not lay a finger on her or threaten anyone. The subway strangler got away with murder. He could have stopped once Mr. Neely was not resp but he kept going for another 5 minutes. He had help too because that POS is a coward. Oh and he snuck in from behind.

The established policies at the open border, no vetting and declaring NYC a sanctuary city along w no consequences for those who commit crimes throughout our city is the problem. Plain and simple. Until those policies change, we cannot expect any change at all.
