Yes the downsizing of the stuff ...yeah...been there done that and it’s not easy I do have a space in the downstairs of our house we retired in six years ago but I do miss the room I used to have...happy sorting!

Over the past two years we did what you are doing - downsizing and storing. The process is crazy - but I’ve found that living with less is so liberating. You can do it and you will love it!!!
Downsizing is so hard! My bedroom is also my craft room :-( I have a fairly large tool type carrier that can hold a lot of things I need for a project or two that I load up and take to the dining room to work at. Even 12" x 12" papers. I bought expanding plastic envelope things that I store paper project elements in. So between the tool carrier and the project holding envelopes I'm not running back and forth from bedroom to dining room very much. I'm sure you'll figure out some way to manage. Good luck!

Why don’t you get one of those folding closets that has the table and everything in it and stands alone I think they call him a craft box then you’d have everything in one corner? I think that’s what I would do if I had to pair down to get into a smaller place!
I thought of that but they’re super expensive and I don’t think I’d have the proper space to open it up. 😬
@@RedCardinalCrafts I would check out marketplace to see if there’s somebody wanting to get rid of one you might get it at a cheaper price it’s worth looking into.
Good Luck Tanya! I guess you will find out what you need and what you miss! My husband and I (empty nesters) downsized from a 4 bedroom home to a 2 bedroom townhouse with a loft! Guess where my craft room is! Well I had to downsize my crafting a lot! I donated a ton of craft stamps paper and ie stuff! I had 30 medium sized craft boxes. Oh WOW! Just listening to you talk about your many moves over the years makes me so thankful that I have lived in this home for 20 years. The thought of having to move would literally make my head explode.
Our home is 998 sq/ft which is tiny. I feel your pain about the struggle of having to cram into a much smaller place.
After the luxury of having the space that you have now, I personally would feel like I was moving into a prison having to downsize that much! Lol!
I'm sure that you'll do great...like you always do. You are so organized and have so much experience, you should be the CEO of your own "helping people move" company.
