We absolutely love the way this farmhouse coffee table turned out. We made it with just a couple 2x4s and some 1x4s. We also lost a pair of pants to the build as well.... What do you guys think of this project??!!

You could rip a 2x4 in half to make two 1x4. Save even more money!

Great project. Love the simple construction and the two tone finish is a true winner. How often do you build something that you know is going in your apartment but you still post it and then let the buyer know that you can build one for them because the first was already taken? Seems like a great way to generate sales without having to invest in ‘stock’ that you are stuck with if no one buys. Thanks for sharing and stay warm!

While I might not want to build the table exactly like you did it gave me some nice ideas on a similar style project table I could build that would be a little more refined and bring a better price. Haha! Thanks! we have had a bunch of astro turf in the shop for years. It's just to keep our work bench clean (ish) in the pieces in one place. hope this helps!
@FishOverChicksWoodworking I need some astro turf for making indoor pet relief boxes. I have a toy size dog that would get lost in the snow and an elderly dog . Neither of them like the cold or the rain.
