In the Belfry @ York Minster

Here we are. The glorious 1925 ring of 12! These are certainly my all time favourite ring of bells! This video was recorded quite some time back, but like the Ormesby video, I thought this was too good not to go on youtube. Yes, the striking isn’t perfect, but this is mainly an under 18’s band!

Used to hear the bells of local village church regularly as a child in the 40/50s, just loved it. Especially on a Saturday when most of the weddings then seemed to be celebrated. Sadly never hear them nowadays...why? it is such a calming sound.
