Voluminous high notes, nice work Ken. This was the right information at the right time, funny how the A.I. thinks I suck at vocals, lol! Right before your lesson I mentioned that I Am a bass baritone full voice and Google must have picked this out for me. GOD is great and you are one of these miraculous teachers of virtuosity that unlimited access to the Kashin Library has made available. I Am inspired by you and all the great singers at KTV.academi Have a great weekend!

Your comment about what the A.I. thinks is too funny! I appreciate your kind comments, and wish you much success with your vocal journey!
Ken, I can’t believe you’re giving all this education away for free. It’s more than the other guys know in total. No need to go anywhere else, you’ve got it all. Thank you.
Actually that G isnt that hard for everyone to hit the thing is how you hit it.. if you are willing to give anything and even lose your voice for thoose notes like I do, I can tell you that is wrong and in worst case you lose your voice either for a short period of time or forever, except you stop when you check that your voice needs a pause the damage will be less
You should tell that to adults not kids, its a lot easier for kids, I'm a Baritone 15 year old and can hit that note in clean falsetto with little effort and no tension at all
Then you've probably been doing more than just watching. You've probably started DOING some of the things I teach. ;-) I'm glad it's helping you. People who watch and criticise are missing out. Too bad for them. It's their loss. Keep Rockin', Wyatt! I'm happy to help.

It didn't dawn on me what you were talking about was something I did while trying to sound like John Lennon or Sebastion Bach. And now I'm consciously trying to apply it to other things. Man you kill all the songs you cover and sometimes I get such chills hearing you...and I don't remember getting such chills hearing the original artist doing those. Not sure I would say you are singing it better than the original artist or not, but there is a substance behind your voice. Maybe even something not in the actual hearing spectrum that can be heard with human ears. Idk maybe I am just bias because I am partial to your style who knows, but never the less you deserve a mountain of credit for all your hard work that it took to get your level. I'm still working at it myself and not just dreaming about it. Been investing a pile of money into supplements as you have done and been noticing a huge difference in the clarity of my own voice with the use of alpha lipoic acid, co -Q10, resveratrol, two types of vitamin C, green tea in the am and white silver needle tea @ night. Not to mention all the different enzymes and herbals that reduce the inflammation and mucus. Pretty sure I had some scaring or nodes that are now healing thanks to your advice. Now my vocal exercises are getting more fluid w/ less effort than before. Muscle memory is starting to take form.
I am so glad and lucky to have come across your channel. Will start taking lessons from you after I settle my pending work. Best Wishes for your great work in sharing what you have and thanks a lot for sharing with us.

This really is terrific information. I've been noticing in rehearsal that my ceiling tends to lower toward the end of our setlist, especially when we save the Stayley/Hetfield/Kurt stuff for last. It never occured to me that I could try using resonance like an "amp", and (atleast for the meantime) let the mic do some of the heavy lifting instead of straining over the monitors. Because I can definitely achieve the same compression without pushing so damn hard. Thanks for the tip and thanks for being so generous on your channel. Borderline undermining the business side with all the free stuff just makes you genuine as all hell man. Be looking for me as a student in the near future 👍

Love your lessons! They are by far the best lessons i've come across. My goal is to get that awesome distorted voice you have at 6:42. You know, the Chris Cornell/Ronnie James ish kind of vibe. But i realize it takes a LOT of practice.
I came here after watching Frank Sinatra’s old man river and how he holds that low note with the beautiful breath control. Ohhh man ya helped me so very much thank you!! Thank you for helping me accomplish something I have been wanting to!
All the proof you need right here. Just blimmin well brilliant. From a 42 year old student nearing his 3rd year with KTVA. I've gained so much from this course. God's honest truth.
Thanks for weighing in as someone who came in worried whether KTVA would really work on someone in their mid years. You've got many more years of great singing ahead of you, now, Wayne! Do you have any problems rocking your voice these days?
I am quite content with things at the moment to be honest. I was trying to think of something that maybe hasn't been spoken of a lot and I came up with a few things. 1.What about tips for male singers that struggle singing female songs or vice versa. Singing in a different key. etc. I was just thinking about Gabby and her ability to rock male songs like Iron Maiden. That was incredible. 2. Tips on changing a style of a song. I tend to see most covers of songs being slowed down but what about going the other way and rocking it out. Anyways... Things are going pretty sweet for me in the songs I sing and couldn't be happier. But you probably know that with the way I'm always banging on about how good KTVA is. haha.
Thanks Ken.you must have read my mind, this is where I was struggling, its nice to be able to use this. awhile ago, I could sing really high but that was from behind the kit and adreline was running but I am up front now and its very different
Ken, every time I watch one of your videos, I learn something new...you are the best teacher!!! I especially loved this video...you are an amazing vocalist...I mean **seriously amazing!!!** I recently discovered that my vocal range spans over four octaves (nearly five!)...I am a 'soprano' but can sing from an A2 and go up to an F#6. I never had a clue about my vocal range until someone at my channel asked me what it was...it's probably why I can cover so many artists out there! Currently, I'm working on 'Fire and Ice' by Pat Benatar...hopefully I can do a decent job...she is beyond amazing!!! ❤❤❤
Yes, Shauna, when we set the bar high and cover artists like Pat Benatar, we automatically have to be on top of our game. Nothing like a little challenge to make us step up to the task!
This is my missing piece I don't know how to sing with my air or I mean a proper breathing. I already watch many videos about this thing but this one is incredible very clear. THANK YOUUUUU!
No hablo ingles. Por favor colocar subtitulos al español. Eres el mejor del mundo brother... Y mi voz progresa gracias a ti.
;) Saludos.
You are amazing and are an inspiration to all the people who seek guidance in terms of singing... I really love to listen your cover songs... you really do justice to all the songs🤘
Hi Ken! Diego, your student from Brazil! I would like to know if there is an specific technique to sing the part where Morten Harket sings the word "two", in the song "Take on me", exactly in the phrase "... in a day or two". Thank you!
It's head voice, allowing it to resonate and hoot just a bit. The air is shooting straight up in his throat, as if it's shooting through the top of his head.
Wow dude you truly are a master. My hats off to you dear sir. We have similar range I'd say, although I've never hit anything above E5 as a baritone, and C#2 is pretty much my bottom note. Hopefully my falsetto will reach your godlike status one day. Have a good day Mr Tamplin!
U sir r legit. I haven't sand since a lung injury jacked my breathing up. But u're vocal warm ups, the croaking one, the choking one. Where u explain the cause and give instruction warm ups to stop it from happening. Got me singing again. I thought I'd never not sound like a dying chicken. It's bin depressing. Id sing to calm and soothe..... life. It sacked not doing it. All ur videos Fire I'd pay for it and ur classes!......... if i had the $$$ so plz don't start charging. Just wanted u to know ur lessons r valuable! It irked me a lil how many times u said other instructors yada yada, proof in singing, until I realized how right u were. Bad instruction is detrimental in alot ways....... Thanks

I came here after watching Frank Sinatra’s old man river and how he holds that low note with the beautiful breath control. Ohhh man ya helped me so very much thank you!! Thank you for helping me accomplish something I have been wanting to!
Awesome!
But you probably know that with the way I'm always banging on about how good KTVA is. haha.
Great Great Sir.Nothing to say.Beyond words.....
Subscribed! 😍
Amazing as always! Thank you
Thanks, Felipe! ...and you're welcome!
Thanks Ken.you must have read my mind, this is where I was struggling, its nice to be able to use this. awhile ago, I could sing really high but that was from behind the kit and adreline was running but I am up front now and its very different
Yea very amazing,,, ❤️
THANK YOUUUUU!
erjy cstrslng You're welcome!
One more question couch, do I need to hold my breath evertime or I mean every lyrics or just in the end of the notes?
No hablo ingles. Por favor colocar subtitulos al español. Eres el mejor del mundo brother... Y mi voz progresa gracias a
ti.
;) Saludos.
DREAM ON! DREAM ON!
Holy smokes you are so amazing Ken! 💯💯💯🙏🙏😘💋 Thank you so much for your videos!

@@kentamplin great! I'm running now to watch head voice lesson! Thank you for this support!
You can do it!
Same... my highest singing note is around E5, down to about C2, as well. I agree, Ken's the man!! The proof really is in the singing!!
You’re so talented and really offer such fantastic advice as well as making it easier to understand! Thanks Ken!!! :-)
This is a brilliant tutorial!
Mad voice Ken, I'm following and learning thankyou!
Thanks, SSThunder763!
Wow all your vocals are just amazing 👍☺
Glad you think so!
Thanks
