Interesting fact, slimes are not always the weakest enemies. In D&D, slimes and oozes have all sorts of different challenge ratings, from zero all the way to thirty (thirty is the same cr as a Tarrasque)
@@reggie6230 - I nearly lost a character to a Gelatinous Cube that was used as a trap in the floor. Someone had trapped one in a hole in the floor of the dungeon and sprinkled the cave dirt on top to match the floor. I just barely survived my reflex save as I stepped onto the cube and noticed my boots immediately started sinking into the slime. Think man-eating quicksand trap. Yikes.
I picked up the previous game on the Switch way back. The takeover effect was pretty much the same but you jumped in their mouth instead of absorbing them. There was a carrot slime that tasted better so it had a higher % to take someone over, which I thought was funny. The art of the ladies looks great in both games. My favourite silly thing is seeing the detailed art of the slimes themselves. We normally see the cute tiny abstracted pixels, but on their status screen you can see them as the humans do and our slimes are *horrifying monsters.* Looks like the second game is just as ball-bustingly hard as the first one. You need to use pretty much every advantage you have just to win a map.
If ya like that, the original game still probably exsists, somewhere. Ambition of the slimes. I personaly got stuck on the 4 gunners stage of that game, and never got to finish it.
Some random people will see this and thought: what if we add horni? That could be easy to do, its just program em and bug fixing the difficult one. Pixel art could be done by anyone, its just that pros have more consistent quality. Story? Depends on the game idea. Just remember that game is basically an interactable multimedia of arts, tales, and designed to be a recreation tool.
The first game was in the mobile. I lost it after changing cellphone and I can't even find it in the play store anymore(I think it was removed) it was really fun game. This game is opposite than the first one. Rather eating them, the first game was just jumping inside of the enemies mouth like a vore.
great concept... kinda wish, the game took it further, this is a little "tame" it's less of an Absorb, more of a Hijack my first thought was a Voreish direction, where your slimes get stronger the more they Absorb, Evolving into different forms based on what they absorb enemies resisting the Absorb based on health, or taking longer to absorb based on health.... but alas.. it feels like a puzzle game, not an RPG where the Creatures Collect You..
My strat is to make egregious use of the falcon blade with metal slash or use falcon slash with a metal slime sword… that and as previously stated using the moves lightning thrust to score a crit to easily one shot them… other handy tactics is to use the knife with a low chance to 1 hit KO (Assassin Needle I think it’s called) or any of the multi attacks that weapons like the bow or spear have

Can you say party wiped by a gelatinous cube or gray ooze… not the best way to end a campaign, that’s for sure
being absorbed and digested by ooze boss sure is awkward, I have played the pathfinder game though

YO I PLAYED THE ORIGINAL OF THIS GAME!!! I beat it and it was a great game. If not a little challenging at times.

It was a pain and a half to catch enough metal slimes too.
They are Suprisingly fast.
