@plastiquemaraj8839 modern ones thats true, but TDU2 had some pretty tight roads and narrow lanes. Made for fun driving! Hopefully Solar crown feels tight and twisty on the driving roads

Yes. I think that's because they are aiming for realism. Arcade racing games is not meant to be realistic so the developers can be more creative and stylized on their sound design, graphics, and gameplay.
@@redvanta402 To me simulators do sound better as they have much more depth in their sound design generally. In games like these with hundreds of cars the devs have to use lots of generic sounds across cars. Like race car sound much more bland in a game like The Crew. But in sims each car gets more attention to bring to life its unique sound characteristics.
I just hope speed traps will NOT Take up half the damn screen with unnessasary Information for 10 long seconds... In Forza its very well done, only the Speed it catched on the speed traps is Shown in a small Window where its not even taking up much space
Does this game do the “stretching” effect when you accelerate or come to a stop? If you know what I mean. Last game was super fun but I sometimes hated that effect lol.
Wow watching this video I can tell you this is not what these places look like. Most of the roads are either to wide or do not have the correct amount of lanes. Kaimuki seemed to be missing the hills. Where was waialae ave? Sorry don’t recognize any of the landmarks. I was really hoping Oahu would be more accurate but I guess there is some reason they couldn’t do it. Too bad

Graphics are marginally better. Physics look essentially the same, i.e. floaty and disconnected from the road. They have improved the lighting, however.. specifically the headlights. In my opinion not worthy of costing $70.00 USD, but decent enough to pick up on discount. Thanks for the video!

That's the Vanity Tires. If you don't equip one, you'll only get smoke, like a regular burnout.

You can also disable them entirely, which I did for making this video.
Also to add, iirc it doesn't temporarily reduce music sounds unlike forza, so it's even better than forza this time in that sense

The cars definitely dont feel floaty,they have a real weight to them that feels great,so much better than the previous crews
