Looks good! I finished my much smaller yard project building a jump box. I am working on editing video for it. When I saw what you were doing I was like, "Hey I have the old jump box rotting away behind my garage. I should rebuild something with it!" I took all the good wood I could find and rebuilt a jump box to play on. I wish I had as much wood as you have so I could build a little quarter, oh well.

Best bet is an oil based external paint which will give the wood longevity and if you apply with a foam roller will be plenty grippy enough 👌

Should make a over vert bit on the tall kinda vert wall, cut the spine in half and build like a burm on the right or left into a rythm set with return skinnys and back over the spine.

Love the videos bro. You should put coping on maybe the 4/5ft quarter pipe so you can air the ramp and get more speed. It would be good and you flow better when riding. And so you can get more speed and attempt crazier tricks
Makes me want to get my old BMX out ramp looks mint
Make the last quarter into a jump and have the top as a deck with sub box on one side. Looks like you can get a lot of speed so could continue into a bigger trick jump after that. Could even do a vert wall at the other end of the garden and have jumps going back towards the spine mini so 2 lines. Stagger the jumps for endless lines/ transfers 😊👍

You should coat your ramp in Truck Box Liner such as Rhino Liner or Line-X here in Canada. It has a good texture for grip, is tough as nails, and waterproof to make your ramp skins last forever!

I just did a couple coats of stain on mine to help with the Florida heat and rain and it’s held up great over the past year. Plus it made it super grippy.

I've built a wooden fmx ramp, still got it. I painted it with masonry paint, soft sand and Pva. I seen other people say about mixing sand and paint. But add Pva is what I got told. Be careful not to put to much sand in and keep stiring cos it sinks.
Never seen wooden bmx Ramps with grit on though thinking about it. So your call. Keep up the good work

I’d suggest putting a wall ride behind the ramp if you have enough wood. You can keep going back and forth and still do lip tricks without needing to slow down

I live in the states I have been watching you ride and riding bmx my self since 2011 your one of my favorite riders man. Great ramp man when I built my half pipe I used primer before I painted it. I would strongly recommend that due to the sun and weather. Keep up the great work. Ps my son is just getting in to bmx and he watches your videos with me to see the awsome tricks!!!
Use the pallets as a frame and use the board on top and spare batons use they to support weak points. Maybe

Imagine being one of the TOP BMX riders in the world, travelling all over the world, riding amazing parks with amazing riders having such a good time to riding on your own in your back garden.... Sometimes that spark just dies out but you dont want to completely let go.
