It is a doggone shame that coaches are hating on this man. His kids are confident and have pride. Having been behind the scenes of a college sports program, you don't get that you're dealing with kids from poverty, with mental health issues, single parent backgrounds ,etc. It is so much more than winning games. It is very obvious that this head coach knows that marketing, partnering and face recognition can change a program. I bet you cash money that Dan Lanning can't have that effect on Eugene ( if Phil Knight was dead and gone). In short - give that man his roses! No one has done what he has done , and it likely won't happen again in this lifetime.
I enjoyed watching Deion as a player and now as a coach. Colorado is a force to be reckon with, a great school and an absolutely beautiful place to live.
This football program reminds me of coach Boone and Remember the Titans movie. He built that team from the ground up. It was uncomfortable in the beginning until they started winning and having fun with it. Good job Coach Prime and your entire staff.

Haven't played since my last year in high school. That was over 40 years ago and I still miss it. I played another sport in college and even professionally. It was great, but there is nothing like the camaraderie of football.

When I first read about Deion Sanders leaving to coach Colorado, I didn't like his abandoning his team. I didn't like the way he handled new players coming in, I didn't believe his statements about what he was all about. I was wrong. He has walked the walk and followed through with rebuilding a broken team. As is noted, he is bringing something special to college football at a time when we all need something special to encourage us. I think his players will benefit and improve as solid men when the graduate and fans will appreciate the spirit they bring to their school. What a joy to see players laughing with their coach, and 2-0!
Yo some of these impressions are so good, i don’t even know the coaches but I’ve had coaches just like them. Every football team has that coach that just a little bit too intense
