Send it back to Marc and let him know the issues you are having. He has been extremely responsive in making sure his tools work properly.

I did reach out to them with the issue I had with the vice - including a video to demonstrate the problem. Unfortunately for me, the response was somewhat curt and negative. I didn't get an offer to return it for any type of service or repair. It was disappointing both because of how much the vice cost and because of how much I loved tying on it. For nearly a year now, it has just been sitting aside collecting dust. There really isn't a way to tie on it in it's current condition. Perhaps you will have more luck with Marc. I would love to tie on it again.

That’s a good question. For me right now, I would lean towards the Renzetti Master. I have both. My frustration that has not been resolved after contacting the company many times makes the decision easy for me. Not being able to stop the vise head from swinging left and right on the Swiss Vise, I just can’t tie on it anymore. That’s a significant problem.
      Thanks for checking it out!

Awesome review! I have heard the same about Petitjean customer service, which is disappointing. How is this vise different from his Swiss Master Vise? One thing I’d say is that I believe his C-clamp version would work much better with your tying style. If you tie flies that make you really crank on that vise a c-clamp is a must. Really enjoy your videos.
