Everyone was counting Francis out and saying it was just going to be a repeat of last time but I'm very happy Francis proved all his doubters wrong that night.
It's also true. Don't know if anyone remembers Ngannou pre Stipe 1 fight. He was getting cocky and believed he would walk through him with ease. That 5 round fight mentally broke him for a while, made him get back into the gym and work hard to put on the performance he did that day.
It's not easy to watch a man as pure as stipe lose like that, but francis worked his ass off from the lowest place, to the top. He deserves this, congrats

Man I used to hate woodley when he was champ cuz he just came off as a bitter dude but now I feel really bad for him. He was a really good champ and fighter and even though he lost the last 4 fights 3 of them were to the current champ, #1 contender and #2 contender and luque is no slouch either so I do think Woodley deserves to keep fighting at UFC and at least try to build himself back up with some lower ranked fighters
Being where he's from and seeing and knowing all he does and what he means to the community makes it all the worse. It's also true. Don't know if anyone remembers Ngannou pre Stipe 1 fight. He was getting cocky and believed he would walk through him with ease. That 5 round fight mentally broke him for a while, made him get back into the gym and work hard to put on the performance he did that day.

Dewey is a former K1 World Champion Kickboxer-people don’t know that but for sure Dewey’s one of the best trainer’s in the fight game & know’s what he’s doing (he’s got pro boxing contenders and champions he trains too). Usman is a good dude for taking time away from his own training camp to corner Ngannou. Ngannou is gonna smash World HW MMA records, maybe even KO pro boxing champ’s too.
I felt KO'ed while watching the fight the way Francis Knocked Stipe out.

It looked pretty awkward and gay(no hate) I mean deep down you expect these things when you step into the ring with a guy like Francis, or even after the first round this must have been a possibility deep down in their minds, the rest of his corner men knew this. If at all Ngannou was winning this fight it was definitely by knockout. He ain't gonna last 5 rounds or pull off a submission. So his reaction was a little cringe.

Man I used to hate woodley when he was champ cuz he just came off as a bitter dude but now I feel really bad for him. He was a really good champ and fighter and even though he lost the last 4 fights 3 of them were to the current champ, #1 contender and #2 contender and luque is no slouch either so I do think Woodley deserves to keep fighting at UFC and at least try to build himself back up with some lower ranked fighters

It was a matter of time before Francis became champ. I don’t know how anyone thought Stipe would win this rematch. As soon as Stipe beat DC in the trilogy I knew that Francis was gonna come in and knock him out.
