@@blackstars14 I much prefer Radiohead (as my favourite band since forever) although over the last few years I've revisited Blur and actually appreciate their stuff. Coxon seems to be the naturally more talented guitarist. That isn't to say that Mr Greenwood isn't a raw talent, more that he excels in inventiveness and sound creation. His recent delay technique is brilliant for example.
Great show again guys! Let’s get Bernard Butler and (perhaps less likely) John Squire on the show, to complete the Britpop bingo, pleeeeeeeeeaaaaase!!!

Great to see so much love for Graham, he is a proper legend and a real inspiration. Back in the 90's it was him, Jeff Buckley, and Gaz Coombes, which inspired me to buy my first proper Tele from Andertons. Such a great player, thanks for having him on ❤
Graham's been my favourite guitarist since I first heard Blur... oh far too many years ago now lol. Lovely bloke too :) He's in his element here and it's always a joy to watch.
Superb guest. Superb interview. Superb show! And I love how this looks with the guitars, pedals and amps in the background. Just makes you want to be there in the room!
I actually think Graham might be one of my favourite humans of all time.... Thank you for the 2 interviews, they have opened my eyes to what a talent and absolute dude he is...
I was never really a Blur fan but this is easily one of my favourite interviews in quite some time on the channel.Great questions & Graham was really happy to answer anything & everything. Top job boyos!
What an amazing character Graham is. These type of people are very few and far in between. Absolutly understand how he fit into Blur and their music reflects that. Glorious interview and I learned a lot!
I was living in London and working as a guitarist. One day the band I was in had a gig at Worlds End Camden, sometime 1989,1990…we were to share the bill with an unknown band called Blur. We played first, played well, were well received. It was a singer from LA signed to Warners, yada yada, we played and then came Blur….it was powerful, mesmerizing and full of amazing music. They well deserve all that they achieved. Graham had a Tele and a Vox if my memory serves me well and sounded really good.
What a Wonderful episode. There's nothing like the re-meeting of the rawness and spit and joy that makes us human. We all need to know one or two people like Graham. Thank you guys!
A great interview. You’ve got the feel blues guy asking tech questions And the the tech guy asking feel questions about visual arts and how music and art are intertwined . Mick and Dan are at the top of their game and tps is a leader , you chart your own path and we love it . Thanks TPS
Great episode, I saw Blur at Wembley last year and The Waeve at Warwick Castle a couple of months ago supporting Noel Gallagher. Both completely different gigs but Graham was mesmerising each time. What a legend ❤
Wonderful stuff, brilliant to hear somebody so creative and imaginative in action, loved the piece at the end and the shy smile said it all, a guy with incredible natural talent and yet apparently without ego. Go Graham, absolutely loved it mate. Thanks TPS!
Fairport Convention meets King Crimson is a vibe I can definitely get behind! Love it when there's someone who's a little bit more in my musical wheelhouse on the show, but who are still total guitar nerds just like the rest of us. Must be the time of year when I briefly learn how to play Coffee & TV properly, yet again, then forget as it's so damn weird! Brilliant show, love you guys, love Graham 😊
He’s the reason I first started learning the guitar in about 1993, and his work with Blur through that era was amazing - but he’s reached even higher levels with the waeve I reckon in terms of musicality and the complexity of each song.
TPS consistency: A+ shows that are interesting and with plenty of wit! I love Graham. Where I live in the states and being a bit older than Mick & Dan, I missed things like Blur and Pulp. I have to give my son credit for turning me on to the Guerillas - and TPS for Graham/Blur. Boy, did I miss out. Oh, and Pulp is the band I always needed in my life that I did not have. Saw them live last weekend with my son. He's a good lad! I would have never known to go. Life changing. I finished my pedalboard today during this episode and it rocks (GigRig power and a QMX-6).
Another great episode, guys. Graham is a huge inspiration, and the sole reason why I own a Tele, even though I’ll never sound like him. But that’s why he’s such a huge inspiration 😊 Now, please please please please please flush out Kevin Shields and get him on the show. And ask him when the next MBV album is coming while you’re at it 😅
Such a brilliant show, I absolutely loved it. To get Graham once was amazing, to get him twice is...well, I feel very spoiled! Thanks again for all that you do Dan and Mick. And thanks Graham for all the brilliant music and guitar playing over the years.
I'm glad the soundtracks were mentioned. TEOTFW 2 and Superstate were incredible pieces of work. Graham's work in recent years I'd describe as adding texture to a song. There's something new to hear with each listen.
Thanky you for this! Graham is one of the greatest living (and actively creating) musicians of our time! And the quality of his recent output is just unbelievable: Darren, End of the F***ing World and the last Waeve album I consider simply classics (and I am old fashioned and super picky).
Another timeless episode! I love hearing Rockstars talk about their previous and upcoming projects. It is so interesting to hear what inspired their creativity. Woo! ❤
He’s a very cool chap. Enjoyed this very much. I think his comparison of his music to abstract impressionism is spot on. “This increases the jeopardy” 😂! Thank you leg-ends!
One of my guitar heroes - Blur were essential to me learning and shaping what sound I wanted from my own guitar. I have a ProCo Rat on my board just cause I heard Graham uses one, and I bought a vibrato pedal cause I love the slow section of Country House.
Man that is so much like me. I will draw out a number of circuits that are ok. Then go to sleep and something happens and then there is magic and you know that is what you should build! Love that EQ sound, can get that through a treble booster and a bucket delay with the repeats off. Great show thanks so much!
Gotta a lotta love for Graham Coxon, my generation’s guitar hero without the cliches, he’s so much more an original player than others of the Britpop era not naming any names and even though I like those others too
Superb show... Thank you fellas. And that bethnal green... What a unique shade of green. I don't recall seeing any other guitar that particular green. Very funky indeed!
@@michelleneeds4165 You could be right... I don't see that particular green after a quick look on their website. Whatever the story, it's definitely a unique shade of green, that pops without being too bright or flashy like a bright lime. Cheers!
I somehow love the bit at 2:21 where he notices his dangling necklace, decides that's no good and pops it under his shirt to get that over and done with.

Possibly the most talented, inventive and thoughtful guitarist of his generation. Thank you for having him on again.
Jonny Greenwood entered the conversation. Love them both!
Ive always liked his playing too. It's great to see that he is one of us, he gets it. Thanks Dan and Mick! And keep making awesome music Graham!

Nick McCabe… it’ll never happen, but it would be something.
I'd die if Squire ever came on. His sounds with the Roses were guitar perfection IMHO and the reason I've spent a fortune on vintage JBLs.
Yes we absolutely need John squire. He's literally my guitar hero

TPS is the best. I'm an old boomer and I get introduced, in a unique wonderful way, to artists I missed along the way of life.
Please go and listen to the entire Parklife album by Blur.
Graham's playing through the album defined Brit Pop for me
Love Parklife but 13 has my favourite Graham playing

When is Robert Smith coming to TPS!?! And Brian Molko. ❤. Another great one, fellows.
