Hello Karl, i did not understand a thing… in your guide, you can make a quarter sill from 5 board of mdf 18mm … but in this video, and also in your guide you create this from cnc and 7 layer… i’m stuck here also ! ;( i have already the 3 layer base sill…

I like the way you designed everything. Some people focus on building a realistic frame like structure to later fill it with liners. You have combined the interior and exterior into one component.

My first sim had a realistic outer skin and shape, it was a lot of effort to build, and a complete nightmare to add anything. I'm loving this new modular design, but if I was going to do it again, I would also try to round off the exterior rather than small straight angular sides.

Hi! Question on tools. I plan to build a pit like yours.
I am currently building a F-16 pit and have most parts already assembled. That pit is quite easy when bending pvc sheets for interior cladding etc. There are no other complex shapes really.
What tools should I get for this build?
    What I have is:
    - Handheld electric drill/screwdrivers etc
    - Handheld router
    - Lasercutter 300x200mm
    - Fixed router 5-axis 600x300mm
    - Various handheld electric cutters

Hi Sebastian, You already have the most important tools, which is the laser cutter and CNC. The only tool missing from your list that I would really want to add is a 3d printer to be able to add parts to help construct the back of the panels and there operation. Good Luck Karl

I know this is an old video, but this is absolutely incredible. NO idea how you execute your wood working so well. One day I'd love to do this but don't have that skill that you do.

Hi Robert, thank you! Sorry for the delay in replying. I am running around doing what feels like a million things at once as fast as I can.
