@@AkEve11 hello. your video is great. My lifelong friend Susana works downtown at Tia's Gourmet Yellow Parasol Hot Dogs. but I couldn't see it because that side of the street wasn't filmed. If you come back, give her a greeting from Colombia, I love her very much. She will know immediately. thank you so much. I hope one day I can go to anchorage

AMAZING VIEWS of streets, and places, that I remember from years ago and plenty of new places that have "come on the scene" since I left Anchorage in 1988. I see that you go down 3rd Avenue quite a bit, would it be possible for you to go down 2nd Avenue (turn right just past the Hilton hotel) and drive past 700 West 2nd? I rented a room there back in the mid 70's. I wonder if the house is still there. Those were the good old days. I see the HOLIDAY INN is no longer there. I saw the building when watching another ladies video (Evelyn DC) but I can't remember what it's called now. Me, and some of my buddies, used to stay there when we got back from "the field". It was so nice to soak in a hot bath after days on maneuvers and sleep in a clean, comfortable bed.

Thanks again! ❤️ My husband said we’ll try and look at it, maybe tomorrow? Will take videos of it to show you when we see it.😊👍
