    I've always said the 200 is for 1 person and the 300 is a cosy 2 person tent, I hike and do most of my camping in Scotland and you definitely don't want to be leaving your stuff out in the vestibule, if it will even fit. These tents are pretty good, had one last for about 3 years granted I did re proof the tent about 20 times but that's what happens if you go camping and a storm rolls in which is quite often in Scotland.

    This is an old video but thought I'd comment as I bought a 200 recently. Even in 2023 the 200 is often still regarded as a highly recommended, " Hardcore" wild camping tent. That can be used British 4 seasons (providing its not being used in super heavy, snow). Its certainly stood the test of time and is a fantastic, durable, light tent. However, it's drawback is the length of it in combination to the aggressive slants of the inner walls. If you're around the 6 foot mark. The inner wall at the head end will literally be about an inch above your nose. If you're around 6 foot 2. You'll likely have the top of your head touching the inner wall, and nose. This can be negated slightly if you're using a bivvy on your sleeping bag, allowing your feet to press into the wall at the foot end. It's a real shame if you're around 6 foot 2, that you're unable to use the full length of the tent due to how aggressive the inner wall slants are. Overall, the 200 is definitely built for the " Average" height person and is undoubtedly only suitable for one person. Width wise its great, and can easily accommodate a broad person with a 80l back pack.

    Can we see how big it is when all packed up! That’s kind of a big deal

      @Cuthbert Bracegirdle They can be compacted down in their bags to about 3 - 3.5 litres depending on what size you go for. The bag for the tent comes with compression straps to pack it away as small as you can get it, just don't leave the poles in the bag they will bend, and I'd remove the pegs aswell because they could puncture the tent when using the compression straps.

    These are still about the best tents for the money. Also think about the Robens Starlight 1 & 2

    This is obviously an overview from a seller. The Vango Banshee is a tent that doesn't weight a lot but...its poles might snap after a few times pitching it. So, I would recommend everyone to watch more REAL reviews. Ty

    Обожаю такого типа палатки. Лёгкие, легко устанавливаются более теплые на мой взгляд.

    hi, i am looking at getting the banshee 300, but i am 5 foot 8 (age 15) and i was wondering how much leg room is there so i can grow into it?

    • @threezerocornwall
      @threezerocornwall  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +JurassicGamer Vango states the inner tent is 228 cm long, which equates to over 7 ft. So there is plenty of leg room.

    I know this is a old video. However the Robens Starlight, for the same money or less is far higher quality.. Vango excel in semi geodesic and fully geodesic at a budget.. The Nemesis and Hydra rock., with a few mods... Robens offer better ventilation solutions and inner tent quality... Still have no idea What Vango F10 is all about.. Apart from more money for the same product ??? Example Mirage pro.. F10 MTN.. Basically the same tent ????

      @@Dusty357 I never understand tent makers sizing system. I've never owned a two-man tent that was realistically for two people.

      This was filmed in 2016 and all specs were correct at the time of filming. "Protex 70D 5,000mm HH Polyester Flysheet - highly waterproof and durable fabric exclusive to Vango"

    • @threezerocornwall

      I would say an English 4 season tent as in it's not designed to cope with heavy snow.

    Where's the tent? It's about a third mesh! You'll freeze your nuts off in that. (Or drown in condensation if you seal it up to keep the cold air out).

    You guys charge way to much for your products. You need to be much more competitive as this would boost sales. I clicked on the link in the description and you (Price on 22/3/16) charge £150 for the Banshee 300! Its So much cheaper at Go Outdoors and Cotswold!
