He was cut from the film being accused of being too generic according, to film director Steven E. DeSouza. Feilong did appear in the background to Street Fighter: The Movie ( Arcade Game). Stephen Chow could have played Feilong. He was in " Kungfu Hustle" and " Shaolin Soccer". Feilong should have never been replaced with a non- canon SF character Capt. Sawada.
