Bakers brown is one of the best colour of Crompton
The fan noise is less at about 60-64 db but gave high air delivery (230cmm) because the fan is spinning at 370 rpm. But 390 rpm models are more noisy but still gives high air delivery (230cmm). For example a noisy speedy fan can be Havells Pacer: 68-71 db and Orient Falcon 400: 72-77 db. Because both spin at 390 rpm and Falcon has a poorer blade design than Pacer.
2:57 this color was there during 2015 .... due to less production of orchid royal that colour has been discontinued

There were Ivory , brown, white in this model during 2016 but due to poor sales of single tone model they have discontinued single tone model.

Usha fans get too slow after 2-3 years of use because their windings are so poor! Crompton fans always spin at high speed for many years because their windings are better!
Rotor dies basically. Winding remains as it is
Crompton High Speed, High Breeze, Dec Air was, is, will be the King. Some dogs abuse HB in social media. I feel the same to their dad's too.
@@SOURADEEPBISWAS How can possibly the rotor die? It seems to be made of solid iron with copper/aluminium strips. On the other hand, the winding is much more delicate - tiny imperfections make big differences.
@TechExplorer Yes it's practically happens & replacing the rotor solved the problem. The dead rotor seems physically perfect but during operation, it have less torque, overheats like hell & prolonged use may melt the strator windings due to heat radiating from the rotor. I KNOW ITS HARD TO BELIEVE BUT IT HAPPENS PRACTICALLY & WE SHOULD LEARN WHY IT HAPPENS...
@@SOURADEEPBISWAS Engineers probably know the reason. In India, manufacturers are not interested in quality but quantity. They spend very little on R&D, design and testing that is the root cause of such defects.
Now Crompton is selling fans with two-piece construction. The rotor is fused with the upper part of the body that makes it difficult (or impossible in case the model discontinues) to replace. They are marketing it as vibration and noise free superior technology while it isn't. It seems a low-cost solution rather than using precision tooling.
U say don't order from Amazon and now buy from Amazon

Just check the ratings of the fan you need if it was more than 3.5 or 4 you can order it. Last year I just ordered Crompton Greaves high speed DECORA ginger gold for 3 thousand rupees , and the ratings are more than 4 , so I ordered it.
