❤️I've already watched this story elsewhere but I never get tired watching it and I'm always in tears. 3 years with his Mom was short but was filled with memories❤️ I'm glad he found his brother and now have each other. 🙏God bless their families🙏
I love love this story! I'm so glad that you included the story about his father, that is a important piece of his closure even though Bruce wasn't interested at first. I'm so glad everything turned out well🤗
Bruce inherited integrity from both his parents. Doubt is a killer of relationships. If his mother had not doubted his father's integrity, this would have been a different story. Glad that Bruce got to know the truth and found his brother. What a great job his adopted parents did. 🙏❤️ Great respect for adopted parents who give so much love to their adopted children. 🙏
This is such a great story. How blessed everyone was. Two men became brothers and that kind of took the love their parents had full circle. This story is worth telling over.
What a selfish act of kindness and a humanity blessing and kindness….happy ending aNDA forever loving family….so sad they couldn’t have Dad and Mom together but spirit brought them together with full of accepting love for each other…I always wanted a sibling ❤️❤️❤️❤️
" BLOOD STAINS BUT Nature binds"To God be the glory this man has his Mother found good too that they both found familiar and family grounds. Pity they'd such brief time together as Mother And Son
I wish Bruce's mother had given his father a chance...but I totally understand her doubt. At the end what matters is he got to meet his mother and even found his half brother. Beautiful story.
So glad that he was able to connect to his birth mother. They were happy to finally reconnect with each other. He was able to connect with a half-brother too. Thanks for a wonderful story
This is what happens when a mother has an unbreakable bond with her baby. This is a beautiful story and his adoptive parents have massive hearts when they took the photo of Bruce to his birth Mum and of course for raising her son. X
A tear filled appreciation for the wonders of life experiences. The Amish have a saying, "It wonders me." I too have finally found my roots after many years. I am now 81. About ten years ago I discovered, through a cousin, that we were decedents of King Hagler (Nopkehee) who died in 1763 leader of the Catawba Nation in South Carolina. Although my ties to his daughter Jarmln goes back 9 generations, I still feel a bond with my ancestors. Blood does run deep.
It all start with his adoptive parents to let him see his mother. Love the whole story but my tears never stop flowing War makes a lot of joy and sadness.
A mixed of beautiful story yet with sadness in some parts - indeed, finding your biological mother and met your half brother are what made this story beautiful. On the other side, knowing your biological father died before you meet him and for both your biological parents who haven't had the chance to share their life together, this is where I felt the sadness. However, maybe somewhere in another life, they are meant to be reunited. Thank you for sharing this story... It always reminds us that a LOVE of a MOTHER has no boundaries... Her love will always find what is missing... God bless you Mr. Bruce, Mr. Lois and your family...❤️😘👨👩👦😇🙏
I have a cousin, Japanese American, fathered by my uncle under much the same circumstances. His Mother passed giving him very little information, we found each other through Ancestry but his father had passed years before. So very sad for so many. Bruce was fortunate to have had some time with his Mother.
This was so well done and so interesting! The twists and turns, the adoption journey, the man's heart attack, and the final resolution--all were almost beyond belief. This man's mother, back in Japan, opened a restaurant that she called BRUCE in honor of the son she'd given up for adoption. On and on, the pieces of the story unfolded, and every one added more surprises. And, not to put too fine a point on it, the narrator was excellent: a living, breathing human being. Most of these channels are awful, and the narrator isn't even alive: it's some horrible fake voice, maybe a robot, that pronounces most of the words incorrectly. I'm in shock: this was good! I may even subscribe. Kudos!
This story touched me deeply. I too was adopted at birth. My birth mother had a cold when she delivered me, so we were in hospital for 5 days before I was delivered to a nurse who brought me to my adoptive parentsMy adoptive parents loved me very much and sacrificed everything to give me an excellent education, but they never told me I was adopted. Despite their love and kindness I always felt somehow disconnected. So in my late 40s I began to make inquiries about my birth. The nurse who brought me home told me the whole story. My adoptive mother was still living in NYC, while my husband and I lived near Stanford. Since I was pretty nervous about telling her that I knew that I’d been adopted, my husband, back East on business, visited her and told her. He said she seemed relieved to know that the truth was finally out. Over the next few months I worked out the anger and confusion I had felt, and realized how blest I had been by both of my mothers. I haven’t been able to track down my birth mother-but I’m ok with that. I feel that we’ll meet one day in heaven and can celebrate with my adoptive mom.
Many times they don't want to tell you because they fear you will feel hurt. And that is their way of protecting your feelings. I have 3 adopted cousins, 3 adopted nieces and a few adopted uncles.
My reasoning for not telling a child to be adopted is because i felt like you are pushing the child out and that would create a wall between you and the child. So if i were to adopt a child, i would always protect and give an assurance of love by not telling his/her of the adoption.
It’s an incredible love story, birth story and full circle reunion. I was adopted, found my mother and had her for just a little over a year. That time was a most precious gift to me! If possible, I don’t believe that states or lawyers should have the right to keep birth information from adoptees. It’s clear that it’s too important for people to know where they come from.
Tears couldn’t stop falling. I was sad, happy and sad. Sad for Napu, missing the opportunity of raising her child but happy for Bruce, being raised by loving adopted parents. Awe If only they reconnected again. Thank you for sharing this story
Wow! What a story. It would make a really great movie. I hope someone in the movie industry finds this story and makes it come alive on screen. So touching. Thank you.
Very inspiring sad but happy story. Pity soo many years lost between mother and son. Wonderful that he was able to some years with his birth mother before her passing.🌹💖💞❤🌹
What a wonderful mother who gave her beloved baby son for adoption. Also for the lovely couple who adopted Bruce. My first cousin was a heroin addict and her baby girl was born addicted too. We took this poor baby when she was three weeks old. It took that long to get her off of the heroin. She weighed 4lb 14 ounces when she was born. She was about 6 lbs when we got her. She is the youngest of our two sons and a sister to her sister. We don't call Holly Suzanne our adopted daughter but our CHOSEN CHILD. She is now the mother of three.😊@
This shows we should always clear our thoughts by talking each whether we are angry or sad... Wish his parents cleared their difference on call during her pregnancy..... 😭😭
Great story and emotional one.Thank God they met.You should alway's find you're birth mother or father/sister/brother.It's important to know your family. So sad they couldn't know about each other's story before they passed away.
Heartbreaking on many levels but sweet also. I had a similar experience when my oldest child contacted me after I had to put my babies up for adoption.
Beautiful story sometimes I wish I would be brave enough to look for my father sometimes I wonder if I have sisters and brothers or if I'm the only one sometimes I wonder if he is still alive or has died too many things bother me but maybe one day I guess it's never too late
Ancestry dna works well I help adoptees find the answers even if the parents have passed it’s a healing process for you. It’s your birth story you have the right to find it
That’s a beautiful and sad story, however for sure they we’re united in heaven and still together his parents watching him from above and they were so proud of him.
Its sad storry for parents. She had toi much pride. After all he contacted her in 1 month. Its not a big time. Her pride ruined her life and life of the solder. Happy that Bruce grew up in loving family.
My tears just fall, it's a sad happy end. Happy that Bruce met his mom before she died and knowing his father's real name, connected to a cousin which lead to discovering an older brother. Sad that his father gone without knowing he and her beloved woman got a child. They really are in love, distance really makes it difficult for them. But the love is true from both.
Very nice story with a good ending. Unfortunately I know like 6 different Asian(Japanese, Korean, and Thai) people with similar stories, so Mr. Hollywood's story isn't very shocking to me. The closet identical story was my 11th Grade English teacher and retired veteran, She was a Korean-Adoptee, who after locating her birth mother outside of Seoul, South Korea learned that her biological father was a White-American military soldier who was stationed there at the time. The story goes, her father knocked up her mother, and than disappeared after 3 months, He came and He went. Her mother left her outside the orphanage door shortly after having given birth to her. According to my teacher, the Orphanage remembers putting her on priority to adopt her out only to White Couples, because even as an infant she had strong Caucasian features and no Korean would adopt a biracial child without everyone starring at the noticeable differences. So yeah, that was her story, I think my former teacher must be in her 60's now at least.
My.Mother was an illigitimate child from American soldier. When the American air force guy left and promise my grandma that he is coming back to fetch her and the baby in her belly, thry lost the contact. My Grandmother didn't expect that he will comeback as he promised. He came back after a year, in a radio station looking for her and the child which a year old then. But my grandma lost her interest, brought the daughter alone and never get married to anyone. My Mother grew up no interest searching her father Her father is also a only child and parents are very excited to have my grandma, but a year of no contact, my grandma decided not to meet them and just continue her life. Shes just 17 yr old, graduated from college (accelerated) and a linguist, and they met because shes a translator in that camp. Till today, my Mother is not interested to even have a DNA test, and just want to live a quiet life (sorry for my poor english)

That's a very heartbreaking love story 😥😥
Yes communication is very important, good thing the brothers still got the chance to know each others ❤
Wow beautiful. Sorry for your mum's and dad's loss.God.bless.
This is such a great story. How blessed everyone was. Two men became brothers and that kind of took the love their parents had full circle. This story is worth telling over.
What a beautiful and sad story at the same time. But a lovely ending.
What a selfish act of kindness and a humanity blessing and kindness….happy ending aNDA forever loving family….so sad they couldn’t have Dad and Mom together but spirit brought them together with full of accepting love for each other…I always wanted a sibling ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Did you men “ selfless” act ?
Very touching story. He lost the birth’s mother but he gained a brother. ❤️
" BLOOD STAINS BUT Nature binds"To God be the glory this man has his Mother found good too that they both found familiar and family grounds. Pity they'd such brief time together as Mother And Son

♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Good for him. It's good to know who you are and where you came from. It helps complete your history of who you are.
I wish Bruce's mother had given his father a chance...but I totally understand her doubt. At the end what matters is he got to meet his mother and even found his half brother. Beautiful story.

BRUCE TURNED OUT REALLY WELL AND I AM GLAD THAT HIS FRIND HELPED HIM TOO FIND HIS MOTHER REALLY WELL . 😀
This story should become a book. Sad, but with a bright ending.

Absolutely beautiful! I am glad to know that Bruce is honoring his whole, true self!

I would always tell a child was adopted. I believe it is their right to know.

The fact that his parents spent the rest of their lives alone. It saddens me. Maybe they could've had a wonderful marriage.
Great story and emotional one.Thank God they met.You should alway's find you're birth mother or father/sister/brother.It's important to know your family. So sad they couldn't know about each other's story before they passed away.
