Crash Leads to Trauma Hawk Having To Land (08/14/24).

At around 10 am on the morning of August 14, 2024 Palm Beach County Fire Rescue was dispatched to a Traffic Collision on West Indaintown Road near the Pratt Whitney road intersection. Upon arrival it was determined that the patient would require to be transported via air to a local trauma center. A landing zone was setup just in front of PBCFR station 14 so that trauma hawk 2 could land. Rescue 14 transported the patient to the landing zone where they continued to stabilized the patient and get them ready for transport with the assistance from PBGFR EMS 61 and other units. Trauma Hawk 2 then landed and loaded up the patient to be transported.
