    Cool. I have several compromised intervertebral discs and I was told not to squat too low. How is the exercise compromised by not squatting all the way down? Thanks

    • @BuiltLeanTV
      @BuiltLeanTV  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You have less glute activation when you don't squat as low. That's the major difference. Good luck healing and strengthening your lower back!

    thanks and another question plz if you wont mind. nowadays am feeling pain around my waist and spine also can these exercise take away the pain or i need to see a specialists.

    • @BuiltLeanTV
      @BuiltLeanTV  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Is the pain muscular, or does it feel internal or skeletal? If the pain has been ongoing for a few days (or weeks), then I highly recommend making an appointment with a physical therapist. A physical therapist will be able to diagnose the injury, and provide rehab exercises to reduce the pain, fix the injury, and correct any muscular imbalances that could be contributing to the problem. Hope that helps, and that you feel better soon!

      Are you saying that you get a muscle cramp or spasm in your neck when doing push ups? I just want to make sure I understand before I give you some advice.

    hy kristin or marc hope you guys are oky can someone make his arm big or stronger with equipments at home

    • @BuiltLeanTV
      @BuiltLeanTV  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Absolutely! You can increase the size of your arms with exercises like pull ups and push ups, and also dumbbell exercises. Focus on increasing your strength, and also on workout volume. If you focus on those two things, you should see an increase in your arm size over time.

    Should we use scapula retraction

    • @BuiltLeanTV
      @BuiltLeanTV  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Retracting the scapula should not be necessary. Just pack your shoulders and keep your lats tight and shoulders away from ears.
