A Peach game where she's a badass and an OG Tomb Raider remaster in the same Direct is such a big win for women. Ixie: "Why would you play any racing game except Mario Kart?" F-Zero 99: "Hold my red shell" Genuinely the best reaction I've seen so far to the TTYD reveal. Had me near to tears laughing
After Sticker Star, Color Splash, and Origami King, seeing TTYD back was much-needed. My other personal highlights are Splatoon 3 and Princess Peach: Showtime.
In a way I wonder if peach showtime was an early hint that it was coming later in the showcase. I mean both have heavy theater imagery. Peach being traped in one, paper Mario's combat being on stage. Then there's the purple plant things that to me anyway looked papery
I cannot wait to play the remake of ttyd, never played it, I have played and beaten 64 on nso and I enjoyed the game, lots of people say ttyd is a masterpiece so I can’t wait to have a more accessible way to play it!
