Yikes, she really has the chops. From looking at her, Chase looks so young that I was amazed at the level of maturity and smoothness that came out in the first few words. This is absolutely pro-level, record-contract-level singing. Such sensitivity, control, emotion, and power. Key moments like the big "And I will give up this fight" line are impressive, where she needs to rise in volume and emotion, but still keep her voice smooth and unstrained - magnificent.

The biggest mistake female singers make on "The Voice" is trying to sing lower parts that they just can't reach. If they can, it's weak. This range of voice is rare & beautiful, well done Chase!

I Can't Make You Love Me is one of my favorite songs, so I have a very high bar set for anyone performing it, and I wasn't expecting that a random TH-cam cover was going to elicit much more than a dejected sigh on my part... but that's not what happened. Nothing even close to that happened! From the very first millisecond of the very first note, I knew I was listening to something... someone... quite extraordinary! Chase's rendering of this song is rich, velvety, powerful, and poignant! This is a beautiful song, beautifully rendered, by a beautiful woman! OMG... I actually smashed those Like/Subscribe buttons! Wow!!!

As profoundly good as Chase is, for me it's her grooving and feeling the song as she interprets it that does it for me. There are great technicians, but not that many who truly feel what they are singing. She becomes the song....
