Master Wong, as a wrestler and a bjj practitioner, I have dabbled in boxing and muay tai and I am confident in a very basic level. How would you combat a larger opponent if they took you to the ground? I am not saying anything I have learned is the best. But I would love to see a video of a smaller person combating a larger person on the ground. Thank you for all your knowledge much respect.

so here are the keep in mind. 1. if you are defending keep the enemy at the distance that equals to length of your hand. 2. Be alert so if enemy making any kind of attack you can block it by closing distance to catch his upper body part especially neck so you can control it. 3. and this one is the most important if you are going to attack stop dancing and just target to hit the nuts. great master wong.

could be ,it's far from what he does tho, like they said at wingchun you excersize the movement but you blast the punch..basicly if in a situation you need to handle you can use it. for sport its practice, for the ring to me its not justice bc all the claws are removed at that point.
Master Wong is a teacher not a competitor. Like a basket ball coach doesn't have to be able to dunk the ball a martial arts teacher doesn't have to be able to beat his students. A martial arts master is able to make you the best you can be.
First time ive seen someone approach the subject in a way that is fluid, this guy is legit from what i can tell. Im new to the channel but so far its 100. Plz keep them coming. Keeping distance and control is everything and cant be taught 100%, either got the instinct or dont. Thanks for the content

I've been in so many fights and seen so many fighters that by simply looking at a persone move, I can tell if they know how to fight. There are a lot of youtubers out there pretending to be fighters. This guy ain't one of them. I'm gladly subscribing to learn from him

I'm a police officer and the techniques we use for self-defence are very similar to this. - Not clenching fists, but keeping your hands above your waist, or in front of you, palms facing out as in saying "please calm down, sir". This serves two purposes: Being ready for an attack, and not looking like a thug threatening a citizen. - The shoulder grab (Not actually the shoulder, but closer to the triceps): It's a common way to manipulate people, especially dangerous people, when they're handcuffed. Also used to push suspects to the ground, and then transitioning to "the mount", where you kneel on his back while you keep his arm between your legs and handcuff the suspect. - Using kicks to gain distance (mostly front kicks) and then using your baton or gun. - Going close range while covering your head with your elbows: Used in combination with the shoulder grab, as shown in the video, or if you're backed up against a wall and need to get out of there.
