You forget the original Shadowmeld only worked when you were out of combat. It was changed in cataclysm where you are able to use it in combat with a 2-minute cooldown. But in short, yes, you are correct.😂

Shadowmeld is not broken. You could do the same on
Rogue - grapling hook away and vanish
Mage - blink away and click invisibility
Hunter - disengage away and feign death
