Seriously, the person who picked the songs for season 2 deserves a raise next year if they decide to go forward with the original three seasons plan. They have not missed once. There are no skips in the songs so far. The Mido and Falasol versions have all sounded "radio ready" too and I hope that we get all of them on the full-season OST. I can't keep relying on The Swoon to hear the songs.

Can we appreciate ikjun for being that calm when iksun showed up in front of him with problems? her sickness and failure relationship with his BFF. He still helped both of them in his own way. He accompanied iksun and kept all the secret from junwan. He didn't even get upset with junwan or iksun for keeping their relationship a secret for so long. Despite all of the comedy and laugh he brought us, all I can see is he's the maturest character in hosplay. The way he handles things is just so calm and thoughtful

i think he knew it was ikjun's car, he thought he saw a woman in it and he was trying to figure who it could be but the headlights were too bright. I don't think in a million years he would have thought she'd be back in Korea, otherwise yes, he would have ran. Interestingly, this is the ER entrance - the same one that they kissed passionately. Maybe, like the last time, he thought he saw a hallucination.

Seeing Ik Sun burst in tears when she saw Jun Wan breaks my heart, I immediately cry with her. How can people hate her for breaking up with Jun Wan? Have they forgotten she had a broken heart and how brave she was when she decided to leave the past behind and accept Jun Wan?
Why do I get the feeling that Junwan somehow either knows about Iksun's situation (perhaps Ikjun has something to do with it) or does not buy into Iksun's reason for breaking up hence he is giving her time and space to heal physically and emotionally for why else would he keep the ring on his finger for a long time. I think there is more to the cliffhanger scene outside the hospital with Ikjun over the phone with Iksun telling him that she is sick and Junwan was standing beside him, as the show is good at this. I have this theory that Eunjin's heart donor may lead to Junwan and Iksun chance meeting, I suspect that the donor is from Changwon where Iksun is based and Junwan is supposed to deliver the letter from Eunjin's mom to the donor's family.

Off topic with Iksun and Junwan. Can't say anything with Ikjun. He is really talented in singing even hitting high notes plus the fact that his acting is very natural. Truly one of the best actors in Korea.
Jun Wan is indeed a tiger paper. Although he looks difficult to approach and a clown when he is with his friends, but deep down inside, he just wants to bring the happiness with other people around them. That's why he tries to hide his problems from other people and try to solve them himself, especially with his best friends and Ik Sun.
Also a detail in this episode urgg, when Song Hwa talked to Seok Hyung because she knows there's something inside his head and he wanted to have somebody to share that, but although Jeong Won knew that there was something going on with Jun Wan, he simply put his hand on JW's shoulder and left him alone, because he knew JW prefer solve his problems himself and not let anyone else bothers. The 99s totally know each other well urggg

I've been listening to this song constantly on Spotify, but after watching this video have really tuned into Junwan's part. And the song is all the more impactful because of it! It's like I can really hear his sorrowing coming through those strings.
Iksun has been getting a lot of hate because she broke up with Junwan. Junwan is a warm hearted guy and I love him but he has as much fault in handling their relationship, just like how Jaehyuk said it’s not just talking to each other it’s sharing your day to day. Junwan never shares his burden to her when she always do and always ask him, so how do you expect her to share a much bigger problem when he himself isn’t doing so? she was seen inconsiderate girlfriend when in reality she doesn’t know his hardship just bec he is simply isn’t sharing it with her.

Apparently, Junwan is that type of person who doesn't really open up or lets anybody in. Just as we seen on the last ep, he didn't really tell anyone about his problems even on his friends. I felt really bad for Iksun on this part because you can't really force anyone to open up.

You know what wrong with their relationship from first is when they keep secret about it especially when it involve your bff. Now the secret getting bigger and heavier which lead to break up. Iksun suffer from illness without juhwan know, juhwan suffer from break off without his members comfort ikjun know everything but unable to tell juhwan n their squad. Thats why communication is key.
This is the best band song they put out. The melody just speaks to your heart and gives you so much comfort. I could replay this song a million times but it still makes you feel so much things. It relates to growing up which makes it meaningful too. And the guitar riffs here are INSANE. Already One Year a literal masterpiece.

The time skip was brilliant!! As expected from shin wonho pd and lee woojung writer. Brown eyes-one year already always have this special place in my heart since the first day i heard the song, in 2009ish something. This song brings so much memories.

He did try talking to her about his own problems when they called in an earlier episode, but he notice she wasn't listening because she was distracted by the fact that she had experience a form of racism. From then on whenever they called, she always talked about herself. Their calls would end quickly so there wasn't enough time to share anything between them. What they needed was to find a better time to call each other and have more time to talk, but that's what long distance relationships do to couples. You also implied that whenever she ask, he wouldn't say. To be fair...she never asked. She takes more blame because she never mentioned her roommate was a guy and out of nowhere she call him to break up. If she broke up with him because of her illness, than that is stupid and very cliche.

I hope this drama will have season 3, season 4, and season 5 as a bonus season.. next year, next year and next year again.. last year had jung-won & gyeoul (1st year, first season), this year had jun hwan & iksun (2nd year, season 2), i hope next year will have seok hyeong & chu minha (3rd year, season 3), the fourth year will have ikjun & songhwa (4th year, season 4), continue the story - stories of other supporting actors such as doctor Jae hak, Hong do, etc. in season 5... I really love their stories..

I can't deal with all these emotions. Iksun Junwan are my favourite couple on the show and I've been rooting for them to be endgame since episode 4 of season 1. I really hope they can overcome all obstacles and find each other in the end.

We never know the real reason iksun want to break up. Is it because she knew she is sick and dont want to be burden or her scar from her past haunted her. Maybe she scare she unknowingly hurt junwan and in the end he left her like her ex. So she let go first. Not a kind move, but i still believe this two can reconcile.
2 highlight from this episode. Ikjun and jeongwan try to make junwan laugh in karaoke (but end up just irritating him 😂) warms my heart. And the last scene when iksun pull so many tissue to wipe the table. Bidulgi tissue always represent this couple happy times. This scene just feel deep to me.

Everyone seems to think Bidulgi couple are better off apart but I disagree. Whatever their shortcomings are as a couple you cannot deny that they really love each other and whenever a relationship hits a snag you need time and understanding to work through those kinks together. Junwan just might be the guy to make Iksun get over her past trauma and end up being the one.
