I give props to Kyungho in this episode, it highlighted how good of an actor he is even in subtle moments. I liked that scene when Junwan was talking to Eunji's parents and the mom was crying and wanting to give-up, he was only in the background brushing his fingers across his forehead while painfully listening but I could feel his despair and empathy even without dialogue. Also, the one when Junwan was lying then sitting on the couch going over Iksun's instagram, the scene conveyed his anxiety even without dialogue and background music, but his eyes and facial expression spoke volumes. Heck, even his surgery scenes come across as natural even behind the mask. I may be biased but I've always felt that of the 5, his portrayal is the most organic.

My first thought about Kim Jun-Wan wanting to learn about social media probably has something to do with his current status with his relationship. But the revelation that it was for his patient made my heart more softer for him than it already was. Bless his heart.
I haven't watched Hospital Playlist, but I want to say that the hug at 2:45 has got to be the best hug I've ever seen. The way she threw herself into his arm and the little giggle is so adorable. Even for a total stranger to the show like me I can still feel the warm of that hug, that's how good it is.
I can't imagine how now Ikjun who feeling confused and guilty to Junwan who's in a stressing condition, in the end he has to see AGAIN his friend become fragile if the truth is revealed later. I mean he always witnesses Junwan's condition towards his girlfriend, but at the same time Ikjun also is suffering bcs Iksun also his younger sister:(
More than that iksun had worst heart break before and ikjun felt guilty for not being there for her. Also he might have thought he really doesn't know her sister and friend.
Hospital playlist is literally my comfort drama.. whenever i feel low i’d come back and rewatch it. Every one around me would always be like try watching something new or different.. they dont understand how much this drama means to me.
Jun-wan is so lonely. He couldn't share his worries about his girlfriend to his gang because of their secret relationship. He also couldn't share his worries at work to his girlfriend because he wanted to be there for Iksun when she is having problem :( Jun-wan really has no one to listen to him.
I feel like the female patient passed unto his care whom he helped by posting on his social media, the one whose eyes still smile even tho shes helpless anymore would be the one who could listen to Jun-wan

Ik-Jun is not avoiding Jun-Wan, it's actually the opposite. If you look at all the other songs, Jun-Wan is always turned toward the rest of the band. This time he's turned away. Ik-Jun couldn't catch his eye if he tried. Also, notice how everyone else looks happier than usual, making Jun-Wan look even more isolated and miserable. Did anyone else notice Jun-Wan is wearing a black sweater for the first time? And the white stripes on the cuffs resemble the sleeve on funeral wear? PD carefully crafted this scene.

the way i saw jun-wan in myself in this ep. it goes to show that no matter how much people surround you, sometimes it'll just be yourself you can actually confide to.
Even there is a small hiatus between bidulgi couple, they will eventually be together by learning and growing as we know that both are not relationship ppl so this will teach them good lessons on how to be together and grow with and for each other irrespective of bad times.

I think they will be fine! Ikjun is very understanding. Plus, he knows that Junwan needs his friends. Unknowingly, he did think that Junwan's gf was being selfish. So he knows that anything that might have happened is not his friend's fault. I will be disappointed if he doesn't, given Junwan was undeservingly going through a rough patch. And he doesn't even share that much with his friends except for Ikjun I think. This episode seriously gave us so many shocks. It was an emotionally taxing video.
I think they'll be fine as well! I saw a theory going around Twitter about the song's meaning for the group and I think it fits well. Ikjun looked at Seokhyeong because he left behind (essentially, "forgot" as in the song title) his past with his ex-wife during the cafeteria scene. Ikjun looked at Jeongwon because of his dream to be a priest is now in the past. Ikjun looked at Songhwa because she no longer feels awkward around him after the confession and telling him to "go- haji-". She's now beginning to spend more time with him out of her own volition. Ikjun didn't look at Junwan because he's not forgetting about/leaving his relationship with Iksun behind seeing that he's still wearing their ring and he did not sing "Let's forget it now". This is not my idea btw haha. This theory is all by user iksongonly on Twitter.

This episode is really for Kim Jun-wan. Our heart surgeon is heartbroken, and he can't open his feelings to anyone, even with his friends because of their secret relationship. At the same time, he never discloses any personal feelings to his patients so no one can comfort him. In first half of this episode, I am really happy and excited for Ik-jun and Song-hwa, because they are my ultimate ship since season 1. But when the scene was with Jun-wan being stressed and frustrated, I can say that this episode is for him. Shin PD-nim please do not break our heart surgeon's heart. We've had enough of Kim Jung-hwan's heartbreaking scenes already :(.
I love Jung Kyung Ho's voice in his last drama (he sings a lot there!) and I have been waiting for him to sing in Hospital Playlist in season 1 to no avail. Now he sings here, he's singing heartbroken song :(
I really felt the sadness in junwan's guitar and his current emotion in his voice.. 😭😭😭😭 you my man! Jo jung suk, yoo yeon seok and jung kyung ho are my biases even before HP, but JUNG KYUNG HO really got me in this one. He shows more versatility in this show, from comedic to serious act.
I really like the first 4 episodes focuses on each of the main cast. Episode 1 was focused on Seokhyung (because of his ex-wife trying to start again with him but he doesn't want to). Episode 2 was focused on Jeongwon (we are so blessed with those Winter Garden moments). Episode 3 was focused on Songhwa (because of her patient's brother has the same situation as her in terms of relationship). And then Episode 4 focused on Junwan (because of his LDR with Iksun resulting to their "breakup") Can't wait for the episode that focuses on Ikjun. I'm sure there will be a roller coaster of emotions in that episode.
This scene is so packed with meaning and emotions, and both the song and the details reflect them so perfectly. I really can't go back and watch it without feeling anything.
We're four songs into this season and I have loved each one. They've really picked good songs and have upped their game when playing. For this song, the bass under the "la-la-la" section is A+, the guitar solo is nice, the harmonizing between Jung seok and Kyung ho is great. This was wonderful to listen to and I hope it, Rain and You, and I Like You get Mido and Falasol releases.
So far Junwan have done 2 guitar solo. I want to see behind the scene where he panic and grumble/whine cutely while still learning and playing the guitar.
This song becomes more meaningful with these people being with each other ....loving and caring each other....wiping each others tears ...hiding own's despair an shining through the pain ❣

Love episode 4 so much! It reveals Prof.Kim character beautifully. I cried when Iksun told him to break up & even cried that volunteer scene. I’m in love with Prof.Kim Jun Hwan. He’s beautiful inside and out.

I’m pretty sure ikjun already knew, you could tell from hints in previous episodes and last season as well, and especially in this ep when he saw junwan calling iksun, he was not surprised. And right after he called iksun to tell her that Jun wan’s gf (pretending he doesn’t know who his gf is) is hurting Jun wan and being inconsiderate. This is my personal interpretation hahaha, Bc ikjun is extremely smart and always knows everything that’s going on, it s kind of impossible to me for him to not tell. There are so many “coincidences” going on between junwan and his sister 😂

Ikjun's eye gaze either means he just realize that his friend actually has relationship with his sister or he already knew that but feels something must be wrong between them that Iksun doesn't want to tell Junwan. I actually thought Ikjun knew about them and that's why he said those things to Iksun, so that she knows what's going on with Junwan. That's why I was surprised when he looked at Junwan like that.
Also, the fact that Junwan suspected about iksun's roommate, might be the cause of chasm between them. It meant that Junwan was harboring trust issues all along with Iksun, although he never shared it.
@@SunetraRay505 When he automatically said "Is it Se Kyung?" you could tell she was shocked he'd jump right to that name so it was obvious that that was one of the issues nagging at him. I don't think he would've cared that Se Kyung was a guy considering he's best friends with Song Hwa and he was the one who told Song Hwa's cheating ex that it isn't strange for men and women to be friends. The doubt and discomfort probably arose from Ik Sun not telling him beforehand that Se Kyung was a guy.

*Just something to notice* : Kyungho/Junhwan didn't sing the lyrics of Forget it and his ring still there. SO what I think is that Ikjun knew that Junhwan was in relationship with his sister but he was still shocked because his sister chose not to tell her boyfriend. AND Kyungho knew that her girlfriend lied to her because she was hurt by her ex-boyfriend SO she will not betray him.
As many as theories going on, I want to give mine too. At first, I thought Ikjun already know that his sister is in a relationship with Junwan because he's quick-witted. But after watching this episode, I think I'm wrong, Ikjun didn't know about all of this, until Iksun called at the end of the episode (like in this clip). Here are the reasons, 99s squad know that Junwan is kinda a player (from 1st ep on season 1), his typical girlfriend is the girlish girl with make up on and very opposite to Iksun (a strong military woman), so probably anyone wouldn't expect Junwan would date someone like Iksun. But yeah, based on season 1, I think Iksun is the woman who has the longest relationship with Junwan (99s squad were surprised that Junwan hadn't broken up with his gf, lol). Then, Junwan also never mention the name of "Iksun" or "Iksun-ah" when he called her on the phone, so probably anyone would have no idea who his girlfriend is. (And since he was always change his partner in a short time, I think anyone feels no need to know about the detail of his gf). Except on this episode he slipped her name in front of Jaehak, lol. And we know that Junwan is smart enough to maintain his privacy. And the last thing, idk if it's Korean thing (or even Asian thing), but "your bestfriend is in a relationship with your sister" is a thing you wouldn't imagine, since when they break up, the situation would be awkward between you and your bestfriend, and because you know your bestfriend too much and it's kinda weird to imagine him dating your sister. So, as quick-witted as Ikjun is, Junwan dating Iksun is the least expected thing to ever happen. And when the hints going around, Ikjun still wouldn't guess that the one Junwan dating was Iksun. That's my theory, lol. Sorry for my bad english.
Well, I do think Ikjun knows Junwan is dating Iksun. Ikjun is quick-witted, like he knows the crush between Winter Garden, as well as the bear couple. In the last season, Ikjun suddenly said "I miss my sister Iksun" after the investigation carpool lol (The scene where the gangs were in Junwan's car and Iksun the "bidulgi" called Junwan via the car's bluetooth). The snow crab meal in Ikjun's house was kinda obvious too. Ikjun kept on teasing Junwan in these two seasons, e.g. hinting Junwan that Iksun's plane has taken off, telling Junwan's "girlfriend" in London if she knows Iksun... It becomes more obvious in the latest episode. After overhearing Junwan's call with her girlfriend, Ikjun called Iksun and told her Junwan was suffering. I think this is Ikjun's way to care about his best friend and tell his sister to be a better gf.

I think the hidden gem in the episode 4 was really Song-hWA's perspective that if people are in close proximity and "something happens", things will work out. This will work for Ikjun and Song-Hwa, but also I feel like with JunWan and Iksun, because now she'll come back to Korea and there will be no choice but face each other even though she's hiding her condition from JunWan. I really think that Iksun never cheated or fell for anyone else, simply after Ikjun told her she's selfish, she decided to break up to protect JunWan. so now when she comes back, hopefully they'll have a chance to work it out!
This drama really mean a lot to me. They taught how to be a good person, how to chill with your best friends, how to solve your relationship problems, how to live in this cruel world. Every characters bring so much message to us. This drama really tell us if only we don't greedy, we don't selfish and we don't have ego, hatred and anger, the world we live will be heaven.. this episode really brings so many emotional to me. Esp Jung kyung Ho he nailed it again. I love him so much and salute to his acting. He never failed me with his acting. I have been his fan since my childhood..Your time is coming. Hope you will get a lot of projects after this. But I really want HP season 3 even though Season 2 haven't finish.
Coming back here after yrs only to say this is still one of my favourite osts of all time. Idk the song unknowingly makes you so sad. Letting go of your relationship, trying to forget about everything when you're still very much in love with the other person, it's difficult, it's heartbreaking. Even though the tempo doesn't make it feel like a sad song but the lyrics surely do🥹❤️🩹
My bias is Jun wan. I can see that he's so stressed with work. Especially when he cannot do anything more to save the patient. And then there's his problem with Iksun. I really think that Ikjun does not know. If he knew, calling out her sister like "inconsiderate, selfish" won't be a thing. He won't say it to Iksun if he knew that they are together. He would be at least gentle in calling out his sister. KYUNGHO's voice is so goooooooooooooooood omg. I want more of him.
But it's suspicious that he called her right after seeing Jun Wan talking with her. I think he wants to pretend that doesn't know, but watching Jun Wan like that... he needed to "wake" her up, so he said it as if it's someone else. this is really the most confusing part of the latest episode. iksun is miles away from them and even if they always bicker, ikjun still misses her, plus the fact the he only knew about his sister’s ex-boyfriend from chihong. if ikjun was only testing the waters when he called iksun after seeing junwan stressed out, it would be inconsiderate of him, right? he knew about her struggles too so it was really not a nice way of calling her out. HOWEVER, ikjun, being despicable as he is, and being a know-it-all character, it is also impossible if he had not yet noticed it, right? H+P 1 and 2 are wonderful shows, much enjoyed here in the US. Beautifully put together, well-written, wonderfully acted - and most of all, plots that whisk you from tears to laughter and back to tears in mere seconds! As a media professional I am impressed with the production values as well - Korea well and truly has its "act together."
I just love this song so much. It's helping me cope up to the things that I've been feeling recently. They released it at the perfect moment. But still at the crossroad on whether I should forget everything or keep on fighting.

Like this week for junwan, its a bad week because he stressed out over patients and broken heart but on the other side its a good week because he able to help his most needed patients. My first thought about Kim Jun-Wan wanting to learn about social media probably has something to do with his current status with his relationship. But the revelation that it was for his patient made my heart more softer for him than it already was. Bless his heart.
I haven't watched Hospital Playlist, but I want to say that the hug at 2:45 has got to be the best hug I've ever seen. The way she threw herself into his arm and the little giggle is so adorable. Even for a total stranger to the show like me I can still feel the warm of that hug, that's how good it is.
I can't imagine how now Ikjun who feeling confused and guilty to Junwan who's in a stressing condition, in the end he has to see AGAIN his friend become fragile if the truth is revealed later. I mean he always witnesses Junwan's condition towards his girlfriend, but at the same time Ikjun also is suffering bcs Iksun also his younger sister:(
More than that iksun had worst heart break before and ikjun felt guilty for not being there for her. Also he might have thought he really doesn't know her sister and friend.
This performance is on another level, in fact I am so surprised and proud of how good Mido and Falasol sound. I love Hospital Playlist so much.
Hospital playlist is literally my comfort drama.. whenever i feel low i’d come back and rewatch it. Every one around me would always be like try watching something new or different.. they dont understand how much this drama means to me.
Jun-wan is so lonely. He couldn't share his worries about his girlfriend to his gang because of their secret relationship. He also couldn't share his worries at work to his girlfriend because he wanted to be there for Iksun when she is having problem :(

I feel like the female patient passed unto his care whom he helped by posting on his social media, the one whose eyes still smile even tho shes helpless anymore would be the one who could listen to Jun-wan

Ik-Jun is not avoiding Jun-Wan, it's actually the opposite. If you look at all the other songs, Jun-Wan is always turned toward the rest of the band. This time he's turned away. Ik-Jun couldn't catch his eye if he tried.
Also, notice how everyone else looks happier than usual, making Jun-Wan look even more isolated and miserable.
Did anyone else notice Jun-Wan is wearing a black sweater for the first time? And the white stripes on the cuffs resemble the sleeve on funeral wear? PD carefully crafted this scene.

the way i saw jun-wan in myself in this ep. it goes to show that no matter how much people surround you, sometimes it'll just be yourself you can actually confide to.
Even there is a small hiatus between bidulgi couple, they will eventually be together by learning and growing as we know that both are not relationship ppl so this will teach them good lessons on how to be together and grow with and for each other irrespective of bad times.
I love how "Let's Forget It" perfectly fits the situation ❤️...The song literally took me back to Ssangmung-Dong... Reply 1988 gave me memories to treasure 😭❤️

I think they will be fine! Ikjun is very understanding. Plus, he knows that Junwan needs his friends. Unknowingly, he did think that Junwan's gf was being selfish. So he knows that anything that might have happened is not his friend's fault. I will be disappointed if he doesn't, given Junwan was undeservingly going through a rough patch. And he doesn't even share that much with his friends except for Ikjun I think. This episode seriously gave us so many shocks. It was an emotionally taxing video.

I think they'll be fine as well! I saw a theory going around Twitter about the song's meaning for the group and I think it fits well. Ikjun looked at Seokhyeong because he left behind (essentially, "forgot" as in the song title) his past with his ex-wife during the cafeteria scene. Ikjun looked at Jeongwon because of his dream to be a priest is now in the past. Ikjun looked at Songhwa because she no longer feels awkward around him after the confession and telling him to "go- haji-". She's now beginning to spend more time with him out of her own volition. Ikjun didn't look at Junwan because he's not forgetting about/leaving his relationship with Iksun behind seeing that he's still wearing their ring and he did not sing "Let's forget it now". This is not my idea btw haha. This theory is all by user iksongonly on Twitter.

This episode is really for Kim Jun-wan. Our heart surgeon is heartbroken, and he can't open his feelings to anyone, even with his friends because of their secret relationship. At the same time, he never discloses any personal feelings to his patients so no one can comfort him.
In first half of this episode, I am really happy and excited for Ik-jun and Song-hwa, because they are my ultimate ship since season 1. But when the scene was with Jun-wan being stressed and frustrated, I can say that this episode is for him.
Shin PD-nim please do not break our heart surgeon's heart. We've had enough of Kim Jung-hwan's heartbreaking scenes already :(.

Jo jung suk, yoo yeon seok and jung kyung ho are my biases even before HP, but JUNG KYUNG HO really got me in this one. He shows more versatility in this show, from comedic to serious act.
I really like the first 4 episodes focuses on each of the main cast.
Episode 1 was focused on Seokhyung (because of his ex-wife trying to start again with him but he doesn't want to).
Episode 2 was focused on Jeongwon (we are so blessed with those Winter Garden moments).
Episode 3 was focused on Songhwa (because of her patient's brother has the same situation as her in terms of relationship).
And then Episode 4 focused on Junwan (because of his LDR with Iksun resulting to their "breakup")
Can't wait for the episode that focuses on Ikjun. I'm sure there will be a roller coaster of emotions in that episode.

We're four songs into this season and I have loved each one. They've really picked good songs and have upped their game when playing. For this song, the bass under the "la-la-la" section is A+, the guitar solo is nice, the harmonizing between Jung seok and Kyung ho is great. This was wonderful to listen to and I hope it, Rain and You, and I Like You get Mido and Falasol releases.

I’m pretty sure ikjun already knew, you could tell from hints in previous episodes and last season as well, and especially in this ep when he saw junwan calling iksun, he was not surprised. And right after he called iksun to tell her that Jun wan’s gf (pretending he doesn’t know who his gf is) is hurting Jun wan and being inconsiderate. This is my personal interpretation hahaha, Bc ikjun is extremely smart and always knows everything that’s going on, it s kind of impossible to me for him to not tell. There are so many “coincidences” going on between junwan and his sister 😂

I actually thought Ikjun knew about them and that's why he said those things to Iksun, so that she knows what's going on with Junwan. That's why I was surprised when he looked at Junwan like that.
Also, the fact that Junwan suspected about iksun's roommate, might be the cause of chasm between them. It meant that Junwan was harboring trust issues all along with Iksun, although he never shared it.

I don't think he would've cared that Se Kyung was a guy considering he's best friends with Song Hwa and he was the one who told Song Hwa's cheating ex that it isn't strange for men and women to be friends. The doubt and discomfort probably arose from Ik Sun not telling him beforehand that Se Kyung was a guy.

As many as theories going on, I want to give mine too. At first, I thought Ikjun already know that his sister is in a relationship with Junwan because he's quick-witted. But after watching this episode, I think I'm wrong, Ikjun didn't know about all of this, until Iksun called at the end of the episode (like in this clip).
Here are the reasons, 99s squad know that Junwan is kinda a player (from 1st ep on season 1), his typical girlfriend is the girlish girl with make up on and very opposite to Iksun (a strong military woman), so probably anyone wouldn't expect Junwan would date someone like Iksun. But yeah, based on season 1, I think Iksun is the woman who has the longest relationship with Junwan (99s squad were surprised that Junwan hadn't broken up with his gf, lol).
Then, Junwan also never mention the name of "Iksun" or "Iksun-ah" when he called her on the phone, so probably anyone would have no idea who his girlfriend is. (And since he was always change his partner in a short time, I think anyone feels no need to know about the detail of his gf). Except on this episode he slipped her name in front of Jaehak, lol. And we know that Junwan is smart enough to maintain his privacy.
And the last thing, idk if it's Korean thing (or even Asian thing), but "your bestfriend is in a relationship with your sister" is a thing you wouldn't imagine, since when they break up, the situation would be awkward between you and your bestfriend, and because you know your bestfriend too much and it's kinda weird to imagine him dating your sister. So, as quick-witted as Ikjun is, Junwan dating Iksun is the least expected thing to ever happen. And when the hints going around, Ikjun still wouldn't guess that the one Junwan dating was Iksun.
That's my theory, lol. Sorry for my bad english.
Well, I do think Ikjun knows Junwan is dating Iksun. Ikjun is quick-witted, like he knows the crush between Winter Garden, as well as the bear couple. In the last season, Ikjun suddenly said "I miss my sister Iksun" after the investigation carpool lol (The scene where the gangs were in Junwan's car and Iksun the "bidulgi" called Junwan via the car's bluetooth). The snow crab meal in Ikjun's house was kinda obvious too. Ikjun kept on teasing Junwan in these two seasons, e.g. hinting Junwan that Iksun's plane has taken off, telling Junwan's "girlfriend" in London if she knows Iksun...
It becomes more obvious in the latest episode. After overhearing Junwan's call with her girlfriend, Ikjun called Iksun and told her Junwan was suffering. I think this is Ikjun's way to care about his best friend and tell his sister to be a better gf.

I think the hidden gem in the episode 4 was really Song-hWA's perspective that if people are in close proximity and "something happens", things will work out. This will work for Ikjun and Song-Hwa, but also I feel like with JunWan and Iksun, because now she'll come back to Korea and there will be no choice but face each other even though she's hiding her condition from JunWan. I really think that Iksun never cheated or fell for anyone else, simply after Ikjun told her she's selfish, she decided to break up to protect JunWan. so now when she comes back, hopefully they'll have a chance to work it out!
This drama really mean a lot to me. They taught how to be a good person, how to chill with your best friends, how to solve your relationship problems, how to live in this cruel world. Every characters bring so much message to us. This drama really tell us if only we don't greedy, we don't selfish and we don't have ego, hatred and anger, the world we live will be heaven.. this episode really brings so many emotional to me. Esp Jung kyung Ho he nailed it again. I love him so much and salute to his acting. He never failed me with his acting. I have been his fan since my childhood..Your time is coming. Hope you will get a lot of projects after this. But I really want HP season 3 even though Season 2 haven't finish.
Coming back here after yrs only to say this is still one of my favourite osts of all time. Idk the song unknowingly makes you so sad. Letting go of your relationship, trying to forget about everything when you're still very much in love with the other person, it's difficult, it's heartbreaking. Even though the tempo doesn't make it feel like a sad song but the lyrics surely do🥹❤️🩹

this is really the most confusing part of the latest episode. iksun is miles away from them and even if they always bicker, ikjun still misses her, plus the fact the he only knew about his sister’s ex-boyfriend from chihong. if ikjun was only testing the waters when he called iksun after seeing junwan stressed out, it would be inconsiderate of him, right? he knew about her struggles too so it was really not a nice way of calling her out. HOWEVER, ikjun, being despicable as he is, and being a know-it-all character, it is also impossible if he had not yet noticed it, right?

Beautifully put together, well-written, wonderfully acted - and most of all, plots that whisk you from tears to laughter and back to tears in mere seconds! As a media professional I am impressed with the production values as well - Korea well and truly has its "act together."
