Another point Jaybe which Krystal doesn't bring up, is that after 2020 Kyle said running in 2024 against a sitting president is fruitless.

Therefore the best bet for "electoral ambitions" should be building the 3rd party option when there is a sitting democratic president.
Finally even if Marianne agreed to do a dirty break WHEN she loses then her foreign policy is still so bad I still would rail against her.
3rd party advocates arent trying to win, we want a voice and a point of leverage like Nick laid out the democratic black vote should be independently. Create a minority 3rd party focusing on issues of ADOS, Indigineous rights, immigrants from the global south and ofc foreigb policy. A minority party which can force votes and concessions in Congress and state houses.

Himself and Kashama Swant were with Bernie in 2015 at an event. Kashama was begging him to run third party. They even knew what that Democratic party is capable of. But even back then Bernie told them he didn't want to end uo like Ralph Nader. Ralph came way before Bernie. So Bernie knew all along what he was going to do....we got one party in this country my friend, It's called the Corporate Party. This is such an awesome channel. In early January when I joined (oddly, because of a TH-cam algorithmic recommendation), you were barely at 4K subscribers and it's gone up by 20% in the few weeks since then. It's absolutely crazy that Breaking Points describes themselves as a "fearless anti-establishment TH-cam show and podcast."

I'm really getting joy from Krystal Ball/Jordan Chariton bashing, both from RBN and now Due Dissidence.
I 100% agree that Bernie was never actually on the 5 yard line. As Chris Hedges has said many times, American politics is all theatre. Chris Hedges also predicted Bernie's campaign would be much weaker the second time around...
Krystal is a part of the establishment now. Dumping the two party duopoly is a ‘lucky break.’
Yes, Krystal Ball has changed. And the biggest manifestation of that change occurred when her and Saagar left the Hill and started Breaking Points, "The New Mainstream." She's not getting a paycheck now, so the need to be "mainstream" is obviously pressing. I also used to think her the best on the Left in this space. Now she seems well on her way to becoming the Rachel Maddow of TH-cam. Must have been Krystal's time at MSNBC. Filling her once-radical place, in my opinion, is Briahana Joy Gray, though even she vacillates some on this particular issue. Time will tell. But this division within the Left, which has exploded since the collapse of Bernie Sanders's "revolution," has reached some kind of high-water mark. This is because we have no where to go now, and nothing to do. So it is good news indeed that Kshama Sawant and Socialist Alternative are beginning the Workers Strike Back movement, and also that she/they will be hosting a new podcast. We need a movement. We need protest and revolt. Otherwise, we will continue to destroy ourselves. Let all the "mainstream" liberals like Krystal Ball and Marianne Williamson go their way. This is an individuation process. And as Jung has taught us, such separating out as individuals is always a difficult and painful process.

This seems to be the same split that was apparent for FTV and I think the reason for the split is the same as before. We know now there dislike for Jimmy Dore outweighed the merit of his idea. This time they would rather oppose RBN rather than support the merit of their idea.

ever since she started dating Kyle. Something has happened. I don't feel she's the same person with the same views she was a couple years ago. And once Breaking points hired Ryan Grime. I've unsub'd. I check back time to time, but there kinda just meh. Its kinda amazing. Kyle's channel is clearly dying and I feel like he's leeching off her and kinda put her career into a tailspin.

Williamson’s response in a nut shell: The presidency has the most power to do good so no.
If that were true if you can’t do good for everyone why not do good for a small portion like Kashama did? You got 4 years before the next presidential election! Doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to me.

The need for the working class to form its own party, and be formed into a class in itself and for itself by becoming its own party, is basic. We get nothing out of supporting a bourgeois party, or being in a party alongside the bourgeoisie. That's like peasants rooting for one aristicrat against another aristocrat for the crown in feudalism. What do the peasants get out of it if one claimant succeeds rather than another? Nothing. It's nonsense. You can't fight for the working class against the bourgeoisie within a bourgeois party. It's self-evident. The idea that we should work with and support Democrats is a contradiction in terms.

All this time, effort and money that went into Bernie didn't result in any new policies to speak of, didn't shift the window in national politics policies at all. If more people had been doing grassroots work instead it would have had better results.
