Hi Caity, I have had a Bernina since 1986. I bought my first one used and really loved it. It was an 830 so it was pretty simple to use. Throughout the years I up graded but always to abused machine. The newer they get the harder it was to learn. I bought the 830 a couple years back used of course. I had that machine in the shop so many times that I just hated it. So I finally bought the new 880 plus crystal edition so I could have some instruction with it. Well so far the instructions were pretty lacking. I keep trying to find things I am trying to do and get know where. I came upon your video's and seem to explain things so I can understand it. I am trying to find out how you take a purchased design and put it in my Bernina embroidery software 8 so I can add a name to the design then get it to my machine. Do you have a video or can you steer me in the direction of where I can find that out? I know you are very busy but I would be so grateful if you could help me in any way. Thank you for time. Thank you so much for your very thorough tutorials on the Bernina 880. This video and Part 2, I have watched and learned so much about my machine from you. I had my machine serviced and saw the servicer pull the thread out in the opposite direction, I cringe now seeing that this was not the best thing for them to have done. It is sewing okay so I am hopeful that it is fine. I have the 880 with the Plus upgrade and the servicer just did an update on the machine. Would that erase the plus upgrade? Again thank you for your tutorials. I am a newbie.
I was delighted to have been given a Bernina 880 Plus. However, I am definitely a newbie and trying to watch videos to do things correctly. My machine has the Dual Feed foot attached and it is in the down position. On the video it looks so simple to lower and raise, but I cannot get the dual feed foot to go back in to the disengaged position. I can move it up, but only a little. Is there something else I need to do in additional to simply raising it? Thanks
I have a Bernina B880 and I haven't sewn with it in over 1 year and it won't turn on? I've know the outlet and poewer supply work but it still won't turn on? Have I lost a circuit board or something?
Well done and helpful video. clearly shown and explained. Thank you!!!
This is the very best video for the series 8 I've watched, so happy I found it. Thank-you!

I have a older 800 series machine....a 830. Is this video series going to apply to my machine?
