Yeah, dude! Couldn't agree more! The Jim Carrey and Tommy Lee Jones likenesses are SPOT ON! That Riddler bomb accessory is just too cool! Just wish his knees weren't missing the question marks. Rumor is a Batman and Robin Bane is coming so we should have a complete set of Schumacher villains. Now bring on a Batman Returns with Penguin, Catwoman and Max Shreck!
I would have love the riddler fogure to have an alternate head with rhe bowler hat and maybe add a soft goods jacket? You could get both versions in one!
What a fab set indeed...🥇🏆 Great review and personally I'm really hoping Mcfarlane will do Batman Returns another year.. Batman The Penguin Catwoman Taser Clown Thug perhaps or one of the Skeleton costumed goons....🙏🤞😊
It seems like McFarlane is taking a page out of DC direct's book, an original early 2000s two-face came with that coin flipping accessory. great video!
Yeah it’s definitely meant to show motion of the coin. Imho should have been clear plastic painted silver on the top coin. Would have captured that better.
That Two-face figure is outstanding. I put a gun in one of his hands to make the figure pop. The Riddler is great also and I'm hoping for a wave with the jacket and hat.
So excited to get these Batman Forever was the first movie I remember ever seeing, definitely agree he should have just been holding the coin or they should have done it like the Mezco one where the flipped coins are translucent instead of solid you better represent motion.
They would also go well with Neca figures of Michael Keaton Batman, terminator 1 and 2, commando, Dutch from predator, Macready from the thing, snake plissken from escape from New York, blade runner 2049 Rick Deckard figure of Harrison Ford if you want a fugitive reunion with Tommy Lee Jones Two Face, and Rambo, robocop, etc.
It was always either going to be comic or game and this recent Penguin clenched it. I need classic Ridder and Rebirth Joker to go with my Penguin, Mr. Freeze, Knightfall Catwoman, Bane, Clayface and Man-Bat. They don't all technically go together but close enough aesthetic. Now I need Scarecrow, Black Mask, Ras, Croc, Ivy, Two-Face, Mad Hatter, Ventriloquist, and Hugo Strange if McFarlane is feeling generous. Maybe Talia, Pyg, and Harley but not really interested in ponytail Harley.
These two are who I’m looking forward to most in this wave. I’ll probably put the bat with the classic monsters Dracula, Nosferatu, the mummy, wolf man, bride of Frankenstein, etc.
Yeah, it's a trade-off. Sacrificing some of the sculpt for having possability. And that's something collectors REALLY care about. For many, if the figure can't move or barely move...they don't want it. Doesn't even matter how good the rest of it looks.
@@DCMultiCollector It kinda looks like they used part of the Psycho Pirate upper body with the plain waist and legs of Ambush bug. Hard to tell until I can get it in hand.
I still think they should have just done Bane from batman and robin as the BAF. I don't think anyone would care its not the same movie, and there's no likeness rights I would think.
Before the Forever wave was officially unveiled, I speculated what the BAF could be since there are no large characters in the movie that would really fit the bill. I thought Batman & Robin Bane could have been a possibility despite him not appearing in Forever. I agree that nobody would have cared. There's a rumor going around that there will be a second B&R wave and Bane will be the BAF for it, so. Fingers crossed that one turns out to be true.
@@SlasherIncorporated he probably thinks it won't sell, that's what he does to characters he thinks they won't sell, he puts them in movie BAF waves just to make sure they will, he did the same thing with Ivy, A character that it'd sell with no problems, Todd should really do some homeworks and learn the real relevance of certain DC characters and quit make only what he likes
@@chojinkid Yeah, the Uma Thurman Poison Ivy from Batman & Robin was the first Poison Ivy figure we got in the DC Multiverse line. That's wild. I know Todd decides what figures McFarlane Toys makes based on their ability to sell, but I don't see how he'd believe that characters like Ivy and Two-Face wouldn't sell unless they are movie versions. They are both well-known and established villains in DC comics. I doubt many people are familiar with Ambush Bug...
@@SlasherIncorporated I just believe Todd is rather ignorant about the DC world and thei relevance of DC classics, and shouldn't own the DC multiverse license, it's just ridiculous that to him only Batman variants sell or jokerized random people, we got so many pointless batman variants or random people dressed aa batman or jokerized and yet we haven't got the standard version, even Gordon had the same treatment, dressed as Batman yes, standard Gordon no, Todd must really be thinking that Gordon sells more dressed aa Batman hoping therr are ignorant people who pick it up only for the Batman costume ignoring he's actually Gordon and not Bruce.
Gordon should've been the build a figure... baf's don't need to be giant for them to be worth it! Is riddler stuck with that super wide stance or will I need to shave the crotch on the diaper? Also how do you think those bat wings will fit on the actual manbat mega figure? I have a custom robin Williams head on my arkham riddler!
No, he shouldn't have. That would NOT be worth it at all. Gordon was pretty forgettable in the Burton/Schumacher universe. He was barely featured in those movies. I doubt that many would care to have a figure of the Pat Hingle version. Wouldn't give people much of an incentive to buy the whole wave.

Great review! Can't wait to get these. And I bet that the comic two face will inevitably a collector's edition.
Excited to get the wave. I'm more of a live action collector, and i love these figures.

You almost nailed the pose on the Riddler from where he blows up the batcave in the Batman Forever comic.👍
I wish they'd used that body sculpt for Ambush Bug.
That be to small
Jim Carrey riddler is easily my favorite

Those look great! The only thing I don't like are the gummy accessories...

What a amazing job by mcfartlane 😂❤
Can’t wait to get these in hand! Can also recommend Angel Grove Collectables for an aussies keen on the set!
The cane is almost exactly the same as DC Multiverse The Riddler, I wondered if it was the same mold used since there seemed to be no difference.
So excited to get these Batman Forever was the first movie I remember ever seeing, definitely agree he should have just been holding the coin or they should have done it like the Mezco one where the flipped coins are translucent instead of solid you better represent motion.
The nightmare bat could also work as a man bat.
Got mine on pre-order. Can’t wait to get them.

Yess! We need a good twoface! I like the game version

I think it's that way for everyone. Riddler and Two-Face will likely be the ones hardest to get.
id be pulling those butterfly joints thats for sure
The faces are great. The leotard on Jim Carrey would look better with less articulation but then again he would less posable.

We have a comic Two-face. He's just wearing a batsuit lol
@@nickryan4126 I note this in the review but NO I DO NOT ACCEPT THAT 😂
Definitely need some more question marks around the shoulder/armpit area
Riddlers " butterfly " joints are distracting.good headsculpt. 6/10
cool
Where is the best place to get mine because idk if I should buy them online or wait to find them at GameStop or something 😢
I am pretty sure that the Forever Riddler has the same exact cane as the classic riddler they released earlier in the year
I think you're right. Looks exactly the same.
It looks like the Ambush Bug body with new feet.
@@thegreatbrainrobbery nah it’s not the Jon Kent buck. I checked that. It’s a weird one!

Yes Todd, it's about time to release a classic Two Face, possibly a black and white suit one, Todd must really hate this character
It's crazy that there's only been, I believe, three Two-Face figures in the DC Multiverse line and two of them have been movie versions.
