Chris Stapleton doesn’t have any bad songs! I love every single one!!! His voice literally gives me chills every time he sings. I just love that raspy growl in his voice & it is so powerful that if you weren’t listening he’s gonna dang sure make you know he’s there!!! He’s amazing & so multitalented. He breathes life into any genre of music. That is a gift someone is born with you can’t teach what he does. Not only is he such an awesome singer, he’s an amazing guitar player. Just hand him one & he’ll know exactly what to do with it! I think he is absolutely flawless!!! I love his wife, Morgan also. She is a very lucky woman.
Stapleton has received numerous awards and nominations. He is the recipient of five Grammy Awards,[95][96] seven Academy of Country Music Awards,[97] ten Country Music Association Awards,[40][98] five Billboard Music Awards,[99][100] two iHeartRadio Music Awards,[101][102] among others. For his work as composer he has received nine ASCAP Country awards, including the Vanguard Award.[103]
"Talk is Cheap" is another you don't hear much about, either. Alan Jackson recorded it for his "Thirty Miles West" album, but Chris' version was very briefly played at the end of "Country Strong", during the post-concert interviews. I'd love to see Chris officially release a full version someday! I also knew the Montgomery Gentry song "I Got Drunk" for years, but little did I know Chris wrote it, until a few years ago!
One of my favourites too. He wrote it with Mike Henderson when they were both in the Steeldrivers. They wrote most of the Steeldrivers songs also Broken Halos and Starting Over. Chris describes him as an underrated poet

Where Rainbows Never Die is my favorite song that he sings. I don’t know if he wrote it or not though.
