Hi Darren, love the channel. I'm gonna ramble on a bit here, but bear with me. I'm probably somebody you would consider a bit of a wool. I grew up in Crosby, although like you, I grew up on a council estate with naff all. Anyway, in 1995, aged 17, I ended up in Lancaster Farms on remand. Was on Derwent 2, and ended up being quite 'matey' with a lad called Walshy (not gonna say his first name.) Your Danny was also on the same wing as us, and we were on the 'ones.' Your Danny came across as a quite lad. he was only 15 at the time if memory serves. Anyway, Walshy told me a story about how Danny and a co'd had fled custody cuffed together and managed to smash the cuffs on a lamppost. Would love to hear more stories about your younger days. I ended up back in Lancaster again in 1997, but vowed upon release that I would never step foot inside a prison again. I've managed to do that, though have had a few misdemeanours over the years (possession of green/rocky, D&D) but I'm proud to say I sort of turned my life around. Keep up the good work mate, I'm proof that kids can turn it around and not get bogged down in the system ;)
