It's been a long time since my last review. So I'm revisiting my first ever cigar review from 2012 the Montecristo No. 4. A petit corona sized cigar. I hope you enjoy.
You are one of my favorite TH-camrs in the cigar world. I'm really glad you're back to reviewing. Keep it up, doing what you love most. Happy New Year My friend. Greetings from your fan from Brazil. 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Man, it's so good to see you back! You're not alone... I went through some awful tasting problems post-Covid too... doubts come rushing in... is it the cigar? my humidor? Covid residuals? I'm happy for you that you've got your taste back my friend. Keep going!
Great to see you back doing reviews. Have enjoyed your reviews for the last few years since I started smoking cigars. You have been missed. Glad your tastes have returned. Cigars as a whole are becoming too expensive for me so started smoking pipe tobacco. I recon you should do some pipe tobacco reviews as well.
Ive always preferred the montecristo line up over all other cuban stogies for the price you pay now days, they age superbly too i was lucky to be able to have the privilege to smoke ones with the old non embossed bands dating from pre 2006! They were outstanding by far the best cubans ive had, great video i miss smoking stogies but im enjoying the pipe adventure now 👌
I've only ever smoked one no.4 and it was good! The Petit Edmundo is my favourite Monte, although I admit to the crime of not having smoked a no.2! I also really want to try and new Wide Edmundo...but £43!!!
I had one of these just yesterday at a cigar lounge, was my first proper cigar ever and I was very happy with it. I was wondering if their are any mini/ cigarello from montecristo that are like a smaller version of the no 4.
If you're just starting out you've got 2 options. Look on Ebay for a 20 count cedar wood humidor and then watch a video on seasoning etc. Or you could get a saleable tupplewear pot and use boveda packs to humify it. This is the cheapest and quickest option to do. The more you get in to this the bigger you need to buy.
FWIW I found these around medium, cedar, cocoa and coffee, a bit variable in terms of spice and a bit of fruit towards the end. Fair value of a few years ago, but now really not worth the price.

Ah thanks mate, hopefully I'm on the up again.
Great seeing you back at it, Duncan! 😀👍🏼 I believe the Monte No. 4 may have been the number one selling cigar at one point.
I can believe that, thanks mate 👍🏼
Just like Arnie I’ll be back!! Good to see your on the cigar review trail again!!
Thanks mate 👍🏼

Ah thanks man, I have missed the interaction with the community. Might have a pipe tomorrow in that case.
Hi Duncan...can't say I have missed you...as I only found you 4 weeks ago.😂
Lol, well it's been a while since I did one.
Another great video. Good cigar. It was my favorite ‘go to’ cigar back in the day when they were reasonably priced. Always enjoyed Monti 4’s.
Yes it's always been decent, I just can't belive how much they cost now.
Just discovered this channel, really enjoyed this vid and will watch more!
Ah thanks 😊. There are plenty but some are a bit old now.
Great to see you mate! I smoked a mini no.2 with you bud!
Thanks buddy, hope it was good 👍🏼
love that cigar, great review
Thanks 😊

Pipes are much more cost effective and I like them more in the winter.
Thanks for watching.
I love a montecristo no 4. Have a couple in my humidor, may have to light one up.
You should.

Prices are regicide ridiculous now.

They do a few minis that are decent.
Can you recommend a humidor for beginners?

Agree, sadly Habanos only want to sell to the rich these days.
Back at last❤
Thanks mate 👍🏼
Whoa! Russell Crowe does cigar reviews?! Totally awesome!!😎
Lol thanks 😊
@@CigarSmokerUK And no need to throw your cigar at the camera… I am entertained
Recently saw that there will be another price increase this year. Yikes
They keep pushing those prices up.
what caused you to have to smoke outside now?
Divorced and left the family home. Living in new place with no good inside area.
@@CigarSmokerUK Take care man, wishing you good health
@prashikjadhav3954 thanks, life is good though.
