How to: DNA BRAID / Coolest Braid For Summer

The DNA braid is THE braid for Summer, and I am so excited to share this hair tutorial. This braid was giving me serious Wonder Woman vibes, I just thought it was so cool, and chic. I know it looks difficult, and overwhelming, but I have simplified it into just 3 easy steps so you can recreate it yourself.

This is amazing! I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome - a Genetic Connective Tissue Disorder, and braids of all sorts are my go tos. I've been on the hunt for a couple new braids / styles for summer, and I definitely just found my newest challenge!!! Perfect for all the Drs appts!

Alex, thank you for your reply. I could wear the braid for work. But it wasn't well made yet. On my way down, I cheated making the side strands thicker by bits of the middle strand 😅 Will practice some more and then show you.

Your hair is incredible!!! I'm sure you hear that all of the time though. That one tutorial I could have my boyfriend do on me because he does know how to macrame'! That one braid is the pattern of plant hangers but it is way cool for hair! Your arms must be STRONG as all get out my friend... 💪🏻👈🏻
I remember practicing this braid with another girl but she somehow ended up creating some sort of banana braid. We didn't know how she did it, but it was fun. :)

Wow, my inner scientist is LOVING this braid! Did you need to do anything special to make it spiral like that?
LOL! Yes! I can imagine a science fair, rocking a DNA braid, so cool! It twists on its own, I definitely should of mentioned that. As you're braiding you'll feel it trying to twist, and once you secure it, it just twists! It's so cool.

Thanks finally after 10 tries I got it with a little help from my husband who just had to make sure that someone was looking after my sections and holding them firmly. My arms are so tired and on fire!
