hey I tried looking for a world record for exotic weapon catalysts in destiny 2...
nothing came up so you must HAVE the record!
I forgot to mention that the Ikora soft lock happens because you're ending your jump when interacting with her keeping you moving and making the game think that you've not interacted and started interacting with her.
I don't think that even surfshark would let me buy lightfall for strand
I can personally say that the joy of them fixing the badge achievement is insane, I had been trying to get that thing for so long and the day of that patch going out when I logged in it instantly gave me the achievement, pure bliss 😂

Always loved watching Platinum challenges but I have never seen one done in one stream! Let me know if this is something you all would like to see more of! This video took almost 2 months to make
I think for the 30 challenges throphy only pinnacle drops count so when you exclude the powerful drops from something like bounties or the nimbus challange you get to 30 pinnacle drops from the shown 45 challenges so that would may be the better description to that trophy.

This video flew by, I love your challenge videos! I was just missing Seal the Deal for the longest time, had plenty of seals but none Forsaken or before. That update was great and I was shocked they did it, it's been like that for so long I didn't think they've ever update it.

If you’re getting the platinum trophy on PlayStation then you don’t need Forsaken. On PlayStation the Forsaken trophies are in their own separate pack, they don’t need to be achieved to unlock the platinum trophy for Destiny 2.
Edit: Finished the video, didn’t realise you had crossplay and knew, forget what I said!
Yeah for me Platinuming doesn't count unless all trophies are obtained. I know technically I could have skipped Forsaken but the vid wouldn't have been as fun imo. Much love on watching the whole video btw I appreciate it :)

@@cbgrayAfter about a month I believe I have a solid idea. Most of the free roam destinations in Destiny 2 loop around and can make a track for racing! Me being big into racing I thought I could make an event with teams and points, qualifying and even “driver swaps” to make it all feel like a real life race day!!! The Destiny Free Roam Grand Prix!!
cb's relief when he got the seal the deal trophy reminded me of when me and all my friends got mmxx and didn't get the trophy, so I proceeded to get dredgen because it was the only trophy I was missing.
Yeah I got so lucky that they fixed it where the other trophies counted. I would have lost it if not haha

I still haven't even completed a raid since VOG in the first month of D1. Had 3 Hunters, got lucky and hit level 30 that first week of the raid.

ive found that the soft locks are extremely common if you are jumping when you interact with the vendors. just stay on the ground for the interaction and it happens way less

@@cbgray Yeah not sure on that one. If I remember correctly it happened to me as well when I was running it when it first came out. I just figured it was bungie spaghetti code that caused that one

Some advice as someone that's done the platinum several times over the years. In my experience the challenges trophy definitely counts the main 3 activity challenges, so crucible, gambit, and vanguard completions/score and bounties. Doing this, I've gotten the trophy at 30 challenges every time, other than that, it's iffy whether or not the challenges count

I was so happy for the seal the deal change it was the only achievement i didn't have so i did dredgen but couldnt finish it since 15 games in a row nobody cast a super

As a person who's gotten softlocked by the cryptarch (i refuse to learn his name) many times, the tip is not to interact with any vendor in midair. I do agree that jumping around th gower is fun, but it comes with a heavy price

for anyone who doesn't known, fastest way to complete xenology quest is to run Legends Exotic missions rotator, for normal completion you get +4 and legend +8 towards your 21 runs required
Not during this challenge when I only had Forsaken and Lightfall. People keep missing that detail. Forsaken grants you access to no rotator missions and Lightfall doesn't either just as a heads up so you know

it stupid that it still happens but there is an annoying way to prevent it

I don't know if anyone has told you this already, BUT if you do the exotic mission rotator for Xenology, you get 4 points for 1 normal run and 8 for 1 Legend run.
They have but everyone seems to have forgotten I only bought Forsaken and Lightfall. I'll let you answer what Rotator Missions that allows me access to haha
Every time you level up you get your super back, it was a cluch for Leviathan Raid final stands.
The reason you soft lock is when you enter the menu while jumping your character lands somewhere where the interact key isn’t an option while you are entering the menu and it will soft lock you

Idk if this works for other platforms since I’m on PlayStation but when the soft lock thing happens just back out before grabbing any quests and such. I’ve done that and it stops it from soft locking

24:37 You can run the exotic mission to get 4 point on the progress for xenology (7 for doing it on legend), if you have the correspond dlcs in the challenges.
All 3 of the rotator missions require either witch queen or beyond light so he couldn’t have done that here

Also those quest dont unlock you the subclass, all they do is give you an exotic armor piece and a legendary weapon, to unlock subclasses you just have to put them on and buy the components to finish them

fun fact they actually changed some achievement requirements in destiny i think after all the sunsetting happened so platinum was more achievable/still achievable so they changed it to stuff that was actually possible so that's nice of bungie. Also they also did what happened at the beginning an basically give you free achievements so again that's nice.
