    Cosatu, which is a public sector union body, doesn't want the ANC having any agreement with the DA, because it might limit their continuous above-inflation increases that have been going on for too many years. They just want to protect their patronage. As it is, the ANC should not be in alliance with one particular union body, and it's time to disband this grouping in the interests of all unions and civic organizations. Also, the SACP, which is evidently parasitic, needs to be cleaved off from the ANC and do its own thing.

      They have been in this alliance for decades but workers are still suffering, top positions are still occupied by whites,retrenchment is still happening and the conditions their workers stay is full of potholes, load shedding and streets running in sewage. Their contributions in the alliance is of no value and symbolic there outdated.

      Because it is, and I actually hope it doesn't happen so you people learn a lesson. I don't support the DA, nor do the white people I know support the DA, but they are far better economically, which attracts investors because they have a proven record of running a province far better than any other party. Keep in mind that this is with the economic downfall of the ANC and WITH the Western Cape only receiving a small portion of the profits they make back to do work in and around the province.
      I hope the ANC chooses MK or EFF so you can see what it is like to lose investors as soon as the news drops. The rand will probably go to R25 to the US dollar in the first month, inflation will skyrocket and you will suddenly not be able to pay for food.
      Please keep this comment safe, so you can come and read it again after it happened and try to make sense of it then. Unfortunately when you go to Gauteng under ANC and you look at Alexander that is worse than it was in the apartheid system, look at katlehong, diepsloot rosettenville hillbrow Mayfair, Johannesburg city. So please don’t tell us how townships look under the DA WHO LED THE DESTRUCTIVE STRIKES. Tishwane is recent proof of striking workers under union directive destroying trucks busses, and other city property. My feeling is unions who can’t control their members during objection and marches for worker rights - should be sued for damages caused by a demonstration under their auspice. Not taking away the right to strike but the right to destroy.

First you need to get people employed, stop cader employment, level the playing field so that EVERYBODY have a fair chance to get employed and stop the nepotism before accusing DA of going against the workers. It is the DA who created the MOST jobs in SA. It is in WC where unemployment is the lowest.

    everyone is talking about "listen to the people" . well then lets listen, The ANC took 41% and The DA took 22%, therefore the 2 most popular parties are the ANC and the DA, so if these two parties worked together that is literally exactly what the country is asking for.
    The EFF took 9% . The vast majority of South Africans do no trust or approve of their policies.
    Can we all just step back and look at the facts

    Ramaphosa ANC+EFF+MK= The ANC, those guys SHOULD, not will, Make each other accountable. The look from Black south Africans will be like:-
    "We gave you the Country and you sold it back to those guys at a huge discount"
    The DA is not for our people, black people. The truth is that we as black people are suffering today largely because of 400 years of looting by White people in south Africa. And I 100% agree with you when its comes to 30 years of mismanagement, but that's not the reason why WE ARE SUFFERING TODAY.
    Tell me 1 thing the DA have done for black ordinary people, the DA wanna sell/loot all of the country's important Asset to private individual that will have a huge negative effect to ordinary black people. Sell/loot SAA, Telkom, water businesses, Eskom. Selling this companies is the same as looting for ordinary black south Africans.
    How can you sell Eskom when as the world we are moving towards this energy transition????? How? how?. The private individual will fix Eskom the same way the government can fix it with, So why the DA wanna sell not to fix????
    Again the DA is not for our people, black people in the long run it will be worse.

    • @Vuyomntambo1999
      @Vuyomntambo1999 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      You are incorrect brother. The DA will not make things worse off for the black population. Basic economics and real life examples of third world country's alleviating poverty all points towards economic growth. In order for your economy to grow, you require foreign direct investment and policies which allow business to thrive. If businesses thrives, unemployment decreases and the government thrives (government makes money from taxes and investment) and will be able to have more money to spend on fixing and building infrastructure which benefits all. And why comrade do you want to rely on government to fix things for you. Governments around the world cannot be trusted. The more power private individuals have the better. The DA = Economic stability and growth. Which benefits ALL.

    SANCO understands better what a constitutional democracy means and, in particular, the RSA Bill of Rights. Sadly, history has shown that co-governing with a block that has a narrow vested interest such as labour, will, ultimately bankrupt a country and destroy a vibrant economy. Labour has done a great job in protecting worker's interest but has forgotten the big challenges facing SA such as poverty, unemployment, failed health & education.
