you're one of the best MultiVersus youtubers out there. thanks for the parrying tutorial bro. I've been getting parried in matches and losing instantly so this was good
Parrying is definitely something ppl should focus on after they get good with a character . Otherwise . Your best bet is Dodge . Or when in air . Dodge down diagonally
It’s going to take time and practice. If you miss it you missed timed. This isn’t a mechanic you use all the time. Only use it once you got a good read on your opponent
If you want to practice parrying while getting other stuff done, do your rift challenges on the easiest difficulty and just go for parries the whole battle. The AI is braindead on that difficulty so it's very easy to treat it like a training mode match.
parry should be allowed to be used with the dodge meter depleted, cause dodging a different direction is 9/10 times BETTER than parrying. it should be a last ditch to avoid damage, not a worse dodge.
I was practicing this in 1v1's since my matchmaking is garbage anyway. Let me tell you, one guy I was fighting caught on that I was only trying to parry and then comboing out of it and then he started doing the same thing... you want to talk about slow boring gameplay lmao my god. 2 people constantly waiting for the right moment to 0 - 100 the other is ridiculous. I don't know if this was the right mechanic to add to a game they already wanted to slow down.
Smash Bros and many others get around it with a grab option. What were they thinking not having that. Guess there's just mix ups. Dodge cancel combos into delayed hits
Dude started parrying me consistently while I was attacking with banana guard like I wad impressed. Today I was using batman and had my opponent in smoke so I threw a batarang at him while I was put of it and he parried the batarang while being in the smoke so I ran in to attack and then he parried me too as the smoke cleared I was like WHAAAAT I'm fighting a legend!!! Ofc I lost tho
"You miss that parry and yo ass getting cooked" best words 2024 🔥🔥🔥
Its odd they force us to do a tutorial, but didnt teach us the new mechanic they added.
baby needs to be spoon fed everything?
@@Zenbon111To learn about a mechanic that was never in the game, that we're never told about it bring added? Yes, you insufferable prick lmfao
They didn't cover very much at all in the tutorial, kind of nuts
@@Zenbon111why are you watching this video if you don’t need to be spoon feed yourself? 🤣🤣🤣
@@LukeyPowPow if seeking out more info on a game is spoon feeding to you then you're too dumb to engage with. Have a nice day.

Great video. But its hard asf to do that shit when there’s a 30 frame buffer delay
I remember being able to bind the neutral dodge in the beta, now there's no option for it😭
I was practicing parrying in the lab yesterday and it was not feeling consistent

It's quite glitched right now, Characters like LeBron and joker can be parried just fine but Jake and BG have very poorly programmed hitboxes
@@FishAnvil oooo damn, the more I play and attempt them, I’ll find out more haven’t fought a Jake yet
Even to this day, Finn still has problems 💀
@DifferentNerd please make a video on how to dodge like a pro
I’m so glad I main Steven he’s so easy to learn parry with and do in matches

Thank you for the knowledge sir.
I kinda miss the crackhead gameplay icl
