This beautiful little boy has got talent! As a long time vocal student, I can tell that he is pushing his voice in order to get a "big" sound and imitate the vocal style of singers much older than himself. My sincere hope is that he receives further vocal training, so that he may learn to protect and care for his voice. If he does truly wish to be a vocalist, I hope he has someone in his life to lead him in the right direction. I for one would love to hear and see more of him in the future.

Here is the translation for this amazing singing performance
The title is A SHEINEM CHOLOM HOB ICH GEZEYN - A NICE DREAM DID I SEE
    (Yiddish)
A nice dream did I see
In the third temple there I was
    Priests were offering sacrifices
Levites were singing a song of ascents
Moses our teacher is learning with the patriarchs
The Sanhedrin sits and hears [in session] a rabbinic court case
Aaron is lighting the menorah [temple candleabra]
and further i see a wonderful face
His face shines with a wonderous light
and on his head a golden crown
    I know of him already
This is the king Moshiach himself
    The congregation stands in awe
He reveals the secrets of the Torah
And from sleep I suddenly awoke
    Chorus:
Don't worry Jews it will soon no longer be a dream
barely a minute left and we will receive and welcome the Moshiach
Drunk with happiness with being well and healthy we will all be going home
back to school will we go with Moses himself amen and amen

      X2
A nice dream did I see
      to Jerusalem we came
She says with happiness welcome unto you all
I lived to see your beautiful face
I had so much pain in raising you
even though you wandered for a thousand years
you are my dear children only you have become more beautiful
And further i see angels go
they accompany the creator with a song
came onto the field and a canopy we raised
his beloved bride the Jews to whom he will wed
and righteous people dancing with the groom
the leviathan of feasts is already prepared
oy' and from sleep I suddenly awoke
      Chorus:
Don't worry Jews it will soon no longer be a dream
barely a minute left and we will receive and welcome the Moshiach

I'm not Jewish, but I was raised with many Jewish friends in a city with a vibrant Jewish community (Savannah, GA). I have always had so much respect for the Jewish faith. It's more than just a faith.....it is a people and a culture, and one that has been very misunderstood, over the years. One friend once told me, when he was explaining his faith to me, "We Jews don't think we're better than anyone else, we just think we're different". I can respect that. I always want to know more, because to me, learning more about others tends to build bridges of understanding, and understanding fosters love and respect for others. Isn't that what Christ taught and wanted us to do?? Mazel Tov to my Jewish friends!!!

The song speaks of a sweet dream. (The Title is: "A Pleasant Dream") In this dream the Third Holy Temple of Jerusalem will be built. In The Holy Temple the Levites will be singing, "Shir Ha'Maalot" , Moses (our father) will be there. It continues with a list of other wonderful things that will happen as a result of The Temple being rebuilt. It is a song of hope. It prays for that wonderful day when the Messiah comes and the Temple will finally be rebuilt. Don't let this dialect of Yiddish throw you off. Mordecai Ben David also sings this same piece (on TH-cam) in a simpler dialect which you might understand more easily. What captivates me is the marriage between the lyrics and music. So magnificently matched. When speaking of the "dream" you can hear the lullaby cadence. At approximately 2:35 into the piece the song turns quickly upbeat to express the sheer joy of the rebuilding of The Temple. Someone mentioned his untrained voice; isn't that part of the wonderful innocence of children singing from their heart?

    • @rss3064
      @rss3064 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

+Hiram Abiff The Third Temple will be called Ezekiel's Temple.
There will be no need for the Ark of the Covenant anymore, for the presence of God will be the "Ark".
In addition no more sin offerings will be made, only wave/peace offerings by the Nations.
If we consider the identity of the Moschiach, Moschiach ben Yosef and Moschiach Ben David -We are still waiting for Moschiach Ben David.
So who is Moschiach Ben Yosef? The Tenach makes it clear in Micah, "But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, being small among the clans of Judah, out of you one will come forth to me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth are from of old, from everlasting" (Micah 5:2).
This shows that the identity of the Moschiach will be no "ordinary" man, because his origins are "eternal".
There is only one man, a misunderstood Rabbi, who suited this description
      a) Now after Yeshua was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, magi from the east arrived in Jerusalem, saying, 2"Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? (mattiyahu 2:1)
      b) "Very truly I tell you," Yeshua answered, "before Avraham was born, I AM!" (yohannan 8:58) - shows Yeshua existed before Avraham Aveinu, fulfiling Micah 5:2
      c) " The next day a great multitude that had come to the feast, when they heard that Yeshua was coming to Jerusalem, 13 took branches of palm trees and went out to meet Him, and cried out:
      “Hoshanna!
‘baruch haba b'shem adonai( Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’)[d]
The King of Israel!”14 Then Yeshua, when He had found a young donkey, sat on it; as it is written:
      15 “Fear not, daughter of Zion;
      Behold, your King is coming,
      Sitting on a donkey’s colt.”[e] fulfiling Zechariah's prophecy
So what happened? Moschiach Ben Yosef was destined to suffer for the People of Yisroel, and he did, fulfiling Yeshiyahu Isaiah 55, and Psalms Zabur 22.
So what about Moschiach Ben David?...Some speculate it will be a different person altogether, some speculate it will be the same person as Moschiach ben Yosef (Yeshua).
-This means that following the resurrection of the Dead, global peace, and restoration of Yisroel, Moschiach Ben David will be crowned in Ezekiel's Temple.
We keenly look forward to Moschiach Ben David's arrival.

Yes, his untrained (but captivating) voice is appropriate for the setting and message. Not a 'performance'. Beautiful.

brandon Johnson Yiddish - NOT TO WORRY A beautiful dream
      I saw
      in the third temple
      I was
      priests were (offering) sacrifice
levites singing the Song of Ascents
      Moses our teacher ...
      the Sanhedrin sits
      and hears out ...
      this is the Messiah-King.
      The whole diaspora
this will soon be no dream.
      we are all going home
      with Moses our teacher
      A beautiful dream
      I saw
      in Jerusalem
      it came
      singing with
      so much sorrow
      you have wandered
oh, you are my dear child
      angels going
      with a melody
      his dear bride
      to be married
      oh the righteous men dancing
      with the groom

The title is A SHEINEM CHOLOM HOB ICH GEZEYN - A NICE DREAM DID I SEE
      (Yiddish)
A nice dream did I see
In the third temple there I was
      Priests were offering sacrifices
Levites were singing a song of ascents
Moses our teacher is learning with the patriarchs
The Sanhedrin sits and hears [in session] a rabbinic court case
Aaron is lighting the menorah [temple candleabra]
and further i see a wonderful face
His face shines with a wonderous light
and on his head a golden crown
      I know of him already
This is the king Moshiach himself
      The congregation stands in awe
He reveals the secrets of the Torah
And from sleep I suddenly awoke
      Chorus:
Don't worry Jews it will soon no longer be a dream
barely a minute left and we will receive and welcome the Moshiach
Drunk with happiness with being well and healthy we will all be going home
back to school will we go with Moses himself amen and amen
      X2
A nice dream did I see
      to Jerusalem we came
She says with happiness welcome unto you all
I lived to see your beautiful face
I had so much pain in raising you
even though you wandered for a thousand years
you are my dear children only you have become more beautiful
And further i see angels go
they accompany the creator with a song
came onto the field and a canopy we raised
his beloved bride the Jews to whom he will wed
and righteous people dancing with the groom
the leviathan of feasts is already prepared
oy' and from sleep I suddenly awoke
      Chorus:
Don't worry Jews it will soon no longer be a dream
barely a minute left and we will receive and welcome the Moshiach
drunk with happiness with being well and healthy we will all be going home
back to school will we go with Moses himself amen and Amen
