This was weird. I have seen lots of different documentaries and educational videos on a lot of different animals, I've seen a lot of death, biomes like the African savanna, the ocean are full of it. I've also seen documentaries on and around penguins and their natural predators, but I had never actually seen one injured or killed, I have also seen seals feed, but only on fish. I had no idea they were capable of such brutality, I had no idea that the penguins had to try to live after having massive gaping holes eaten out of their torsos, right alongside the perpetrators like nothing happened. I don't know what I expected, but it definitely wasn't this.
These nature docs are just upping their content. You gotta when you have TH-cam showing raw video of alligators ripping a zebra's face off (yeah I've seen that, it's gruesome).

The music especially heightened that sense of dread and horror when you see the remains of what's left on the carcass, slowly descending into the depths of the ocean, almost eerily cinematic. This was weird. I have seen lots of different documentaries and educational videos on a lot of different animals, I've seen a lot of death, biomes like the African savanna, the ocean are full of it. I've also seen documentaries on and around penguins and their natural predators, but I had never actually seen one injured or killed, I have also seen seals feed, but only on fish. I had no idea they were capable of such brutality, I had no idea that the penguins had to try to live after having massive gaping holes eaten out of their torsos, right alongside the perpetrators like nothing happened. I don't know what I expected, but it definitely wasn't this.

The music especially heightened that sense of dread and horror when you see the remains of what's left on the carcass, slowly descending into the depths of the ocean, almost eerily cinematic. It's almost like watching I was watching a clip from a fictional movie, instead.
