Explaining the need for love and compassion when teaching children about Islam and Allah. Interested in the Kids & Youth Programme for your child? visit: www.mirahmalaika.com
Assalam oulaikoum wa rahmatou Allah, Ramadan kareem, not a mom or a scholar, but I strongly agree with you on the importance of teaching children with compassion because they grow to be adults that naturally gravitate towards Islam. I've had my own experience with that, actually when I was younger I was harmed by someone who was a religious person and who thought it was some sort of education method. That feeling of hatred resulting from it, I unconsciously associated it to the religion. It made me distance myself so much for years until I started reading quran and meeting other women in masjid where I realized that I was just associating emotions from childhood and that I should not let any bad experience distance me from Allah subhanah. Now allhamdoulilah I think I'm better than before, but I still got a long way to go inshallah. I thank you for your contribution to our community, may you get rewarded in jannah wa assallam oulaikoum.
Wa ALeikum Asalam wa Rahmatulah wa Barakatuh ppl have bad feelings & no love for Allah's din! she sees errors in teaching today. she is german revert! she she has an ijaza in fatwa and psych degree. she sees how Prophet Muhammad peace and blessings be upon him would be kind to kids to create moments of emotion which helps one remember. Same w/ our own memories. b4 imams like sofia would hit kids, it's wrong. a man's daughter once didn't want to talk to a person because she associated them w/ strictness. Prophet Muhammad peace and blessings be upon him was known to be kind and structured (balance) Caleef Rashid were lenient and strict. teaching kids should be w/ love! Prophet Muhammad peace and blessings be upon him call kids by kunya to make them feel like apart of society! 10 :00 - says not following the sunna and looking down at kids makes them not want to try lacks ability to forgive. perma model, positive relations to make kids want to learn more. one person may want to learn Islamic Aqida, another in med another has sympathies, can be councelors! other ppl can do power points to help in studies or express oneself.
this is a very deep, useful and unique topic. thank you for sharing.
