I was fascinated as a kid the first time I saw a vertical playing jukebox. It defies gravity. I used to try to peek behind the song lists to see the records playing and changing in bars. Yes, I was allowed in bars. With my dad. I drank soda, of course.
BELLO RECUERDOS DE MI PAPÁ QUE TUVO UNA SINFONOLA IDENTICA A ÉSTA EN SU BILLAR!!👏😄 ERA LA NOVEDAD DEL BARRIO SE REUNIAN JOVENES ESTUDIANTES A DELEITAR DE SU PREDILECCIÓN MÚSICAL DE ROCK.... ROLLING STONES... BEATLES...THE HOLLIES ...Y EN ESPAÑOL X SUPUESTO!!😄😀👏
Oh my goodness that's a seriously sexy piece of music history right there, it must sound delicious when you are actually there. This music always reminds me of the Stephen King film "Christine" 😃
THIS is the way we remember the song being done ...............i've listened to other renditions on the websites all are flawed..........this is the orig. version others are inferior and I'm 65 so I lived it and bought the 45rpm version that's being used in this video !!!!!
Dear Sir: I am writing from the TV production company, Indalo y Media. We are in Seville (Spain). I wanted to ask permission to broadcast 10 seconds of images from the Jukebox, on the TV show "La Tarde Aquí y Ahora", on Canal Sur TV, today March 11, 2020. Regards, Thank you very much.
prckay i could be wrong but i think they were intentionally made to play a little faster, a lot of songs sounded better sped up a little more and it made dancing more interesting and it was a bigger factor in record ratings at the time. I have some 45s from this time that were actually recorded faster than the masters and most of them say DJ copy. Haha
It still sounds "old", just like such a juke box sounds if it's in a good condition. So I think, the original speakers and the original amp is still in there ;). Worst enemies causing bad sound beside a bad stylus are old capacitors (dry out), worn tubes (cause distortion), bad transformers and bad speaker surrounds (the foam ring around the speaker cone). It's not a question who did this. Everyone with some level of knowledge in electronics, some skills and a soldering iron can do that. It's a stupid 1:1-replacement-chore. You don't even need to understand the circuits for that. Except of the tubes, most parts of such an amp can be replaced easily since replacement is still available and easy to get. It's just a question if it's done or not. And it should always be done if you want a good reliable juke box for actual use. Remember: Using non-overhauled tube electronics is very dangerous because of its age. It can catch fire easily. One bad capacitor is enough for that.
Been looking for the right jukebox for years! That song never gets old. R.I.P. guys!
Get little tingle when it fired up? I did. GREAT! Just great. So many memories tied up in music and music players. Thanks!

It's playing a little fast here. I could prove it, but ... nah.
I cant find the words - it's a time machine - I soooooooooooo have to get me one
sounds faster than usual but still great
It's rumored that they used to set the rpm a little higher to shorten the songs and therefore get more songs and more money per night.
I think this song came from the first showbiz pizza animatronics they sang it you know the wolf pack 5
No, it's a bit older than that. lololol
@@foobarmaximus3506 This comment is also old, I made this when I was too youthful.
wheres mine nice
I believe if it turned down the audio and slowed the record down a little, it'll be perfect as the actual song.
It is a tad fast.
That thing must be so heavy.
It weights 38,000 pounds. Is that a lot? lol

this is a very fast pace of this version
These jukeboxes always seam to play a little fast for some reason!

Time is money. lol
Great model "1900 Centennial" ??
Not a 1900. It's the next years 104 selection 2104
OK.
:-)
I'm serious! I wanna know who rebuilt your amp and what kind of speakers are in that thing! I have a 1900 and it doesn't sound ANYWHERE that robust!
